Missed the game! Were we good?

Totally missed this game due to family issue. 451 every one seems pretty happy with how we played.

 

I've wanted us to play this formation and personnel for some time so amazing to here us using it and too good effect but the sounds of things. 

 

Do you think we should keep this formation for the next couple of matches and can you see us getting anything against West ham and spurs using it? 

 

I feel with this formation subs can make a real difference as well!

Yes I thought we gave a good account of ourselves, although I feel it would have been different if Man City had either Dzeco, Aguero or Jovetic fit to play, and not had to use an 18yr academy player up front, which I felt is where they play broke down on a lot of occasions.

 

The formation looked solid, personally I was pleased to see Drinky back in the fold, as I feel he's our best player. On another day we could have ground out a result but it wasn't to be yesterday.

 

The positives are that despite some morons say on here, we are playing well and only coming short by the odd goal and not getting hammered. If we were looking crap every week I'd be worried but I think we'll turn this around soon, and hopefully a couple of quality signings in the window will kick us on.

We played quite well again.  Still making errors defensively though which will result in us being relegated if we don't sort it out pretty soon.  It didn't look like we were bottom and they were second from top.

Same result, but showed signs that we might start to improve.

By no means a great performance, and glad many of those who have constantly played through the poor run, finally got dropped and those having to sit out, got their chance, and would say they all did ok.

We looked a lot better than we have recently but still toothless upfront.

To a man they pretty much gave their all trying to get the right result. Caught out by the brilliance of Nasri and Lampards finishing.

Man City had to resort to nobbling Mahrez and Vardy to stop them as Mahrez was ghosting past players and Vardy should have been given a penalty. King and Cambi were excellent in midfield. We had a few chances but sadly there being rushed because of a lack of confidence in front of goal. Great commitment all round looking forward to next match.
