Alf Bentley Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Had a dry July, August, September, October, November and December. Now having a wet January to dissipate the gloom. A nice little crawl last night - a hoppy little bitter in The Pub; a lovely liquorice stout in The King's Head; a solid Brakespear's in Firebug; a perfect Tiger in The Globe (shame they've moved it upmarket, as they're still keeping their ales well); an over-dry ruby ale and a tasty Festive Ale in the Ale Wagon, all topped off with a warming bottle of Old Peculier on returning home.....brain cells pleasantly marinated.
