If WBA starts getting results, the arguments will start.....Why City didnt go for Pullis, theres the

reason fo city sacking Pearson.....Told you so!!, We all seen it coming!!! Blah blah blah and so on.

Even now some posters will be preparing and saving their future posts of....

the could of, should of, would of, and the if onlys.

Goodluck to you all, betting this theme of some sort will be the top threads of Jan and Febuary.

No point really, all ifs and buts. Hopefully Warnock will take over and keep us up

You're right. And those people would have a fair point, wouldn't they? If they were calling for Pearson to go six or seven weeks or go, and be replaced by Pulis, and we were to subsequently go down while they stayed up - then I'd have to say 'fair enough, you were right on that one'.

These are the consequences of sticking your neck out about something. Of course we'll never really know what would have happened with Pulis at Leicester, just as we'll never know how soon we'd have gone up, if ever, under Sven or a different manager. But if you park all your personal biases for five minutes and try to look at things objectively, and in the most simplistic way possible, then if you were strongly in favour of Pearson over Pulis, and we go down with Pearson and a rival stays up with Pulis, then you were probably wrong.

And, believe me, if things work out the other way round and they go down with Pulis while we stay up with Pearson, there will be plenty of people laughing their socks off.

I'm not a big fan of 'told you so' talk. But, one way or the other, it's going to be very hard to resist for some people this time around.
