At that price I've just bought and downloaded it! What's the worse that happens it's at least going to partially fill my next week where I'm off work - joys of working shifts and changing departments means I'm off until 18th June

Definitely worth that price. Even if you only have a passing interest in city building.

Been a few months but I think I'll jump back into this game. The only change I really wish they would make is providing more pedestrian walkway options. The game seems hung up on the 50's american suburbia ideal, where you're not allowed to go anywhere your car doesn't go. I know they have pedestrian pathways, but you're still required to build everything directly connected to a road. Which is annoying and very un-New Urbanist.

How many times do people tend to restart before they've got something good? Mine is just a mess at about 30k

Usually heavy traffic that used to get me! After a few helpful mods and carefull road planning its can be very managable

Amazing game, very challenging and you'll progress quickly. but when you get to large population and realise your city is screwed and can't be fixed that's when the real game kicks in and you have to start planning a city.

Finally had some time to play this over Christmas. It is such a good game. downloaded some of the extra DLC as well - the Mass Transit package has monorails - who doesn't like monorails?
