Foxmeister Posted 13 March 2015 Posted 13 March 2015 There's more chance of Rolf Harris being the next host of Blue Peter than Bakayogo getting a new contract.
weller54 Posted 13 March 2015 Posted 13 March 2015 Realistically, I think we would do well as a club to not offer any of those players a playing contract. We need new blood. Preferably 8 pints of Pearsons!!!
Foxmeister Posted 13 March 2015 Posted 13 March 2015 I hope we keep Dean Hammond he seems like a really nice guy Hardly the criteria for giving him a contract is it? Decent player though we look better with him than without him.
Matt Posted 13 March 2015 Posted 13 March 2015 Yeah I guess players do have to deal with it in their own way when they are kept out of the team for no reason, and once they get back in the team get dropped for once again seemingly no reason even though they've not put a foot wrong! This. Think if I were Knockaert and to some extent even Marcin i'd tell them to shove their contract where the sun don't shine. Whilst I hope he doesn't and I don't want him to leave I really couldn't blame him if he did. I've said many times I can't believe Knockaert ain't put a transfer request in, I would have if it were me, I hadn't realised he was out of contract in the summer until recently, it perhaps explain why he hasn't put one in knowing he can leave in the summer. ...Now if I were Hamer I think i'd be putting a transfer request or atleast getting my agent to be engineering moves for me.
RedSoxUK Posted 13 March 2015 Posted 13 March 2015 This. Think if I were Knockaert and to some extent even Marcin i'd tell them to shove their contract where the sun don't shine. Knockaert didn't have a big enough impact in the games he's played, and as a flair player, you can't just rely on skill or creativity when you're in a side not doing so well. Mahrez / Schlupp / Albrighton are all deserved starters on the wings, I wouldn't play Knockaert in any game above either of those 3. He's nor surplus to requirements, just not a Leicester starter, would love him to stay for the Championship though, can't see Pearson reverting Schlupp back down to LB unless he doesn't replace Konch in the summer. I also think Hamer has a good opportunity to work on his distribution, and overall game before working his way in front of Schmeichel. I wouldn't be surprised if Kasper was sold in the summer if we can get a few mill, and I wouldn't be too heartbroken either - Hamer has proved his ability in the Prem and in the Championship w/ Charlton, hope the coaching staff notice it. Can't be too selective of a GK based on results, but in the games he's played, we've looked far more comfortable as a defensive unit Stoke 0 - 1 LCFC- made some vital saves, 1st clean sheet LCFC 0 - 1 Man City - Outdone by a close range effort from Lampard West Ham 2 - 0 LCFC - Two very good goals, he made some good saves this game too. LCFC 1 - 2 Tottenham - don't remember this game at all other than Kane scoring. Hull 0 - 1 LCFC - Clean sheet, again some great saves at the depth under struggling winning time. LFC 2 - 2 LCFC - Two penalties. LCFC 1 - 0 Newcastle - Clean sheet, didn't watch the game because FA Cup, heard it was pretty straightforward according to RL. LCFC 1 - 0 AVFC - Clean sheet, Villa were shit, one shot on target. LCFC 0 - 1 Stoke - undone by a good finish by Bojan - + our midfield were mostly shit. 4 clean sheets in 9 games is pretty good considering we're bottom 7 points adrift, and I couldn't say it's down to the 4 / 4 lads in front of him, because in every winning situation, our defense has almost shat the bad every single time and i'm glad Hamer was in goal for these situations. Letting in a total of 8 goals in those 9 games. Just a thought, would be sad to see Hamer go, but see your point because it would be a massive shame for someone like Hamer not to be playing every week.
cheshamfox17 Posted 13 March 2015 Posted 13 March 2015 Lets be honest Leicester City without Gary Taylor-Fletcher is not a Leicester City many of us would want to see. Galloping up and down the pitch, scoring tap ins. Where we be without him?
Merchant Posted 13 March 2015 Posted 13 March 2015 yeah and that means he should get a new contract!!!! well today its said cambiasso and upson being offered a new contract at minute!! Hardly the criteria for giving him a contract is it? Decent player though we look better with him than without him.
