  1. People say he works hard because they can’t say he’s a nice guy.
  2. I think Monga needs to spend time with actual coaches to learn how to play football as a team member and pass the ball, rather than show off trying to skin everyone. We would be a terrible choice for his development. He should turn into a quality player once he learns how to play in a team with discipline, tactics and leadership.
  3. Another season of Rudkin making the decisions off the field and Vestergaard making them on the pitch. Let’s try for a third season, it may work. These same players struggled against a L1 team in the cup. One press and shoulder barge and we are left one on one with a keeper who is either too scared/thick/poor at the basics. I would love a Top redemption arc but that would require something he hasn’t been able to see, is too scared and/or arrogant to make a change. It won’t happen so I won’t even think on it. Rudkin will stay in place along with whatever dodgy deals with the agent for their cast off players and injured loan players.
  4. They need to get down to PureGym and work on their fitness as soon as possible. Then watch some YouTube videos on how to pass the ball and move into space. We need a manager that seems like he has watched our games and looked at technical information on the players. If the new manager prattles on about clean slate, experienced prem players and internationals then it will be a rinse and repeat of the last two years. Another season of the walking football dictated by JV and the Mavadidi step over challenge. Sadly, low quality managers we have been selecting will be impressed by the dross like JV, Skipp, Thomas and Mavadidi.
  5. Not convinced that he has added any value to the club since he stopped being a player.
  6. I posted just as you posted so I didn’t see your comment about talking to King. It’s nice to hear that he gets it and is on the same page, but at some point you need to make a stand and if others aren’t listening, make a stand with solutions.
  7. Maybe he could’ve reminded Mavadidi and Fatawu how to pass the ball and other players how to run into space. No room for sentiment. I think he needs to go along with the rest of the coaching and technical staff. We have had poor fitness, lack of discipline, zero player improvement, obvious flaws and errors not being corrected on top of the terrible tactics.
  8. Daka was embarrassing up front, Ayew was embarrassing all over the pitch. He would actively seek out other areas of the pitch to stink out and then not be where he should be. Away from the kpi’s, using the eye test, I feel Ayew had more of a negative impact on the performances. A player that actively avoids passing to team mates in better positions, constantly cheats to break up our own play and then wastes time arguing when we needed goals and having to watch his set pieces for months. Cat shit v dog shit argument though.
  9. Wingers that want to play as wingers would be a start. Both sides are desperate for someone who will run into space as well as actually pass the ball forwards and cross. Back to basics with some added flair not the other way round. A forward that wants to be in the box will be nice after the last two clowns and whatever that thing from America was.
  10. And they will do what the previous clowns have done. Having the attitude that the players are too good for the league and let them keep playing exactly the same way that had failed every week but never correcting mistakes. JV and Winks need to go so we can finally move on from the idea of Enzo ball without drilling in the tactics. Hopefully Nelson can be deprogrammed so he can stop be a JV copy. Mavadidi needs to go if we are to ever cross the ball and pass to player that bothers to overlap, we also need players that will overlap. King and the rest of the coaching and technical staff need to be binned off as well. They have no excuse for the lack of fitness and discipline.
  11. Massive cope some fans, along with he’ll score against Palace etc. I remember when he came on, got the ball on the right wing, ignored his team mates, turned and ran in a straight line to the left wing, ignoring his team mates and then gave away a throw in. His absolute worst for me was this season under Marti. He had dropped back into our half, picked up the quick pass out for a counter, ignored his team mates ahead, stopped running, turned around and passed backwards. I remember the booing being really loud on the broadcast I watched.
  12. Signing and loaning players where people have said ‘if he stays fit’ has worked out well for us recently. I expect us to sign multiple players barely returned from injury.
  13. You’re right, elite players will have the confidence and ability to make the pass. We missed KDH but the main thing was a manager with actual tactics and fix mistakes. Fatawu and Mavadidi suddenly became lazy and thick, forgetting all the things they did well and never corrected by the last two clowns. I’m dreading another season of JV walking to the halfway line, fake pass, roll back and then getting pressed and countered. Didn’t work in the prem or champ, maybe in L1.
  14. The walk to the half way line, pass sideways and back for no reason, ignoring the quick counter attack and allowing the opposition to camp before attempting anything. My barber is a Chelsea fan and he said exactly what I told him would happen. When it works it’s great, but you have to be bored senseless until it happens.
  15. His touch was effortless. He broke Ashley Williams so hard he tried to storm the bus.
