broughtonblue Posted 30 August 2014 Share Posted 30 August 2014 i received an email from the club yesterday saying they have a new partnership with a mobile phone contract provider. 'The peoples operator' (TPO) they are offering unlimited text, calls, and 3gig of data for £4.99 a month for first two months then £14.99 thereafter. out of your payment 10% will go to the foxes foundation. just wondering if anyone has heard of them or had any dealings with them? the offer is also on the main page of LCFC's website. as im out of contract im tempted to try it
Larry_LCFC Posted 30 August 2014 Share Posted 30 August 2014 Never heard of them. They are bound to be shit if we've linked up with them. Retailing isn't exactly our strongest point

broughtonblue Posted 30 August 2014 Author Share Posted 30 August 2014 On EE network - go for it http://www.thepeoplesoperator.com/about Yeah I did a bit of research on the net and all seems to good to be true, so went in local EE shop today and neither of the assistants knew anything about them. Put me off slightly. But on a rolling 30 day contract I can cancel anytime so not a lot to lose by going for it I suppose!Supposed to be more information available at the match tomorrow so will see what that is. Another thing that seems dubious is they want my credit card and bank account details, can't see why they would want both?
MattGamble92 Posted 31 August 2014 Share Posted 31 August 2014 Shame we can't follow an east midlands tradition and do a deal where we get to pay for the phone contract and get a free season ticket
broughtonblue Posted 6 September 2014 Author Share Posted 6 September 2014 After talking to one of their reps at the arsenal match I took the plunge and went with this, so far so good. £4.99 for two months then £14.99 thereafter. Unlimited calls and texts, 3 gig of data.
