Collymore Posted 13 August 2005 Posted 13 August 2005 Why do they always ask the same questions, "are you shopping?" NO I'M HAVING MY HAIR CUT "Whats the weather like?" LOOK OUT OF THE WINDOW "Are you going on holiday?" NON OF YOUR BUSINESS "have a look at the back of your head in the mirror, is it ok?" NO ITS SHIT, PUT ALL MY HAIR BACK AND START AGAIN

Hitesh Posted 13 August 2005 Posted 13 August 2005 Agree with the last one! If its wrong, what can they do bout it? NOTHING!
rossporterlc Posted 13 August 2005 Posted 13 August 2005 yeh last one is very true, don't usually get asked the others though tbh
Little Nicky Posted 13 August 2005 Posted 13 August 2005 For me it's usually "The weather's crap isn't it!" "Been down City lately" then the usual "Are you going on holiday?" "have a look at the back of your head in the mirror, is it ok?" I don't mind it all though, my Hairdresser is sound!
cisono Posted 13 August 2005 Posted 13 August 2005 I go to a gay hairdresser who never asks questions like that!!!
cisono Posted 13 August 2005 Posted 13 August 2005 Do they still say anything for the weekend sir 156259 I thought that was barbers? [Plus I usually visit on Mondays, so the weekend is far away]
davieG Posted 13 August 2005 Posted 13 August 2005 I thought that was barbers?[Plus I usually visit on Mondays, so the weekend is far away] 156318 Barbers, Hairdressers - What's the difference?
cisono Posted 13 August 2005 Posted 13 August 2005 Barbers, Hairdressers - What's the difference? 156369 Hmm I have this image of barbers as offering less sophisticated styles, much faster and straightforward service with no waiting and catering for a male clientele. On the other hand, more and more men are now going to hairdressers (as I figured, these would be more typically the establishments that women visit and where they spend hours waiting for their turn, chatting, waiting for their hair to be washed, waiting for the colour to set, waiting to have their hair pulled, waiting to have their hair dried and finally waiting to pay and to be forced to fix another appointment much earlier than they actually want to set one for). Or am I wrong? :-)

Cat Burger Posted 14 August 2005 Posted 14 August 2005 Nearly 2 years since my last visit. 156434 Probably longer for me as my sister did it before I started growing it in Janvier. Should be going and having it thinned out soon though.
Matt Posted 14 August 2005 Posted 14 August 2005 My mum used to be a hairdresser so shes my hairdresser. P.S - Just had my hair cut this morning actually, It looks abit like Connolly's hair style now, Before it looked like Paddy's...The plan was to grow my hair farly long (Not long down my neck/back but fairly long ) but I gave in and had it cut this morning...
BenFilbert Posted 14 August 2005 Posted 14 August 2005 Agree with the last one! If its wrong, what can they do bout it? NOTHING! 156005 Make it shorter, tidy it up, shape it differently. Plenty of things they can do.
Guest Posted 14 August 2005 Posted 14 August 2005 I had my hair cut by an obviously gay hairdresser who was more interested in my opinion on his new mullet, which he'd extensions put in especially for. I didn't tell him the truth, naughty me.

And as i think i have got ajob today its time for a change so ill go back to my old look i think. So once again Johnsy has failed

So once again Johnsy has failed 156538 Exactly the reason why i've had mine cut, but my "old look" was shaved head, but as I said I was growing but had it cut today but its still longer than my "old look" after todays hair cut I wouldn't say it was long though. I would still like to grow my hair because I like the long hair look, but my mum says after todays hair cut she has styled it into the kind of shape I want so apparently if I just let it grow now she thinks it will grow into some kind of shape/style and grow how I want it. As I said I have now got my hair styled into a similar style to Connolly but I really am not sure about it, i'm not too keen on it but i'm sure it will grow on me (No pun intended! )
Scarby Posted 15 August 2005 Posted 15 August 2005 well i have just had it cut for 8 pounds! it looks well wierd when i got up from the chair it looked like a blooming yeti that decided to streak his haor blonde (silly mistake)had just had its haircut. The lass that cut it didnt really chat at all however, it was peaceful and i was content it listening in the old women next to me rattle on about her blind dog!!! most enlightening
Guest Posted 16 August 2005 Posted 16 August 2005 I have mine done at home. Me, lazy? Pah. 157288
