Here is a list with some of the best Football club teams all over the history.please select the one which you think was the best ever.

What are you basing it on?

I'll go for Real Madrid 56 - 60

Has to be AC Milan 86-96 Truly awesome team.

Some of the greatest players in the world:

Marco van Basten, Frank Rijkaard, Ruud Gullit, Roberto Donadoni, Davide De Lorenzis, Carlo Ancelotti, Giovanni Galli. Franco Baresi, Paolo Maldini, Marcel Desailly, Roberti Donadoni, Dejan Savićević, Zvonimir Boban, Daniele Massaro.

Inter Milan during the 50s were supposed to be the greatest team ever but wasn't around at the time so wouldn't know.

For many years I thought that the Real Madrid team of the 1950s HAD to be the best club ever. After all they set a record of five straight European titles which will probably never be equalled, and their 7-3 hammering of Eintracht Frankfurt in 1960 is regarded as one of the greatest games ever played.

However, having now become aware of the influence exercised by Franco and the Spanish government in creating and protecting that record, I have to say it looks tarnished by modern standards.

I therefore voted for the Ajax "total football" side of the 70s, a side that oozed quality and flair, which was rarity in an era dominated by negativity and cynicism. Johan Cruyff and his team were among the finest exponents of how football should be played, and thus inspired a generation.

Allen,I would like to ask one more time:did you mean for the 50's,or 60's team?

and,why do you think they supposed to be the greatest ever?

thank's...

I can't remember any except the Real Madrid 2002 or Bayern 2001, and as both were not brilliant, i won't vote. But having heard a lot about the Real Madrid of the 50s and the Ajax of the 70s from my dad, they would be up there with the Leicester City of the late 90s, i suppose.

That was tough. But I went for Cruyff's Ajax team by a hairsbreadth from Real Madrid's Eintracht outfit. Ajax were everything you wanted football to be. But I never saw the Milan side of the 50's so I've no argument on that score. Tell you what though, 4-5-1 never came into it.
