Head Honcho Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 Nicked from another forum 1) Why do I feel the need to post in every thread? 2) Are all of my posts relevant and according to the spirit of the forum/thread in which I'm posting, i.e. will people gain value from reading them? 3) Would the overall quality of the forum be improved were I to be more selective with my posting? If you answer yes to any of the above questions then get a grip!
Head Honcho Posted 5 October 2006 Author Posted 5 October 2006 I'm an unashamed Foxestalk junkie! Clocked in early today is it?
The People's Hero Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 Heh, one minute I was on the internet sending some emails for work... then suddenly I found myself here!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 Funny that the first two respondents in this thread are the only ones with more than 9,000 posts.
Katy Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 Funny that the first two respondents in this thread are the only ones with more than 9,000 posts. Don't want to let the side down do we. TPH is more of a post whore than me due to the fact he's nearly caught me up and ive been posting longer.

lcfc_jme Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 I'd have to say I answer yes to 2 out of the 3, and considering how long I've been on the site in comparison with my post count, I probably am a post whore

Coming down slowly I blame you and General Chat (Evilword association) for my post-whoring

Coming down slowly I blame you and General Chat (Evilword association) for my post-whoring Mine's quite low, but it's accelerating at an alarming rate. Especially when you consider I've been registered for over a year.

Yeah you've been top of the day's, weeks and months highest posters since about 2 weeks after I joined , and you don't appear to be stopping yet Not that you should, General Chat would be lost without you
MC Prussian Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 Yes to all three and proud of it in a sad, lonely way.... We're all sad and lonely in our own ways... But I'm not that kind of a post whore, there are other infidels more guilty than me!!!
Rincewind Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 It depends. I reply to interesting threads when I'm short of time and the boring irrelevant threads I leave to when I have nothing better to do. My mood at the moment is..............
Libertine Posted 5 October 2006 Posted 5 October 2006 I used to post just for the sake of it, but I realised there's no point and I just looked like a bit of a 'tard. So now I just post in thread that I'm interested in. That shows why I don't post that much recently.
