Jonbluefox9 Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 Henderson, more agile and I think he's a better distributer of the ball than Logan despite Conrad's gigantic kick!
Geo V Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Hendo has done well but has very little presence and even less distribution qualities. He makes some decent saves but i`d go for the younger and bigger presence of Logan. I really think we have a rough diamond in him. Ive only seen him a few times this season but he looks like a good player for someone so young. Its a shame RK didnt stick by him but maybe thats the only way he could get Hendo to sign a new deal (to make him No1).
DB11 Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 When Logan has played, has he ever warranted a place in the first team over Henderson? NO.
Mort Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Dont really rate either of that very highly... on balance their both "much of a muchness", better than Rab of course () but i think a decent kepper is somthing we need to look for in the summer, not a top priority but its somthing which needs thinking about as Hendo is very average (at best) while Logan is still occasionally shaky (Product of still being pretty young if nothing else).
Jimmy Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Logan, there about the same level but henderson wont get any better logan will, plus he gets off his line quicker and is better at dealing with crosses
DB11 Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Logan, there about the same level but henderson wont get any better logan will, plus he gets off his line quicker and is better at dealing with crosses Proof please...
Joe. Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Would be Logan for me. As good a shot stopper as Henderson and a much better kicker of the ball.
Jimmy Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Proof please... just watch them both play, henod flaps at them, doesn't call and makes everyone feel nervous, conrad calls nice and early, clains the vast majority of them and generally commands his area much better, anyone thats every been a goalkeeper, for more then just a few games, would of picked it up straight away
Manwell Pablo Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Logan, Hendersons over rated and showed how good he was (again) on Saturday, has put in a couple of decent performances but overall he's not good enough. Countless goals we've conceaded which he could of stopped, he's kicking is shite and he looks like Chris Coleman. It was harsh dropping Logan after the wedensday result as he had no chance with a couple and it would of taken fantastic saves to save the other two.
dandannieldanok Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Hendo for me, very good attitude and a great shot stopper.
Manwell Pablo Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Hendo for me, very good attitude and a great shot stopper. Thats is such a myth!

dandannieldanok Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Thats is such a myth! Not from where I have been sitting!
Master Fox Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 I don't think it really makes much difference, but i' would probably just stick with Hendo between the sticks.
Jimmy Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Not from where I have been sitting! no he makes a couple of good saves then ****s up on something so basic that they score anyway, hendo is decent back up, nothing more, nothing less, where as logan has the potential to be a brilliant 1st choice and guive the average age of the ROI keepers an international to boot
Manwell Pablo Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Not from where I have been sitting! Becasue I am bored and waiting for footy focus to come on I am going to complie shots Henderson should of saved using only you tube.

Jimmy Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Key word, IMO should be understudy to Hendo for next season and then take the number 1 jersey. personally i'd sign someone else (Jamie ashdown from pompey maybe?) and send logan out on a season loan to league 1, either way if we want to progress hendo cannot be our 1st choice keeper

Jimmy Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 rab's gone either way tbh, he'll be a high wage earner and milan will want that off the budget
Mort Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 If we were to get someone like Ashdown, next season IMO we should have:Ashdown - 1st choice Hendo - back-up Logan - loan (like you said) Rab - bugger off Thats pretty much what I'd like to see... Hendo is good in patches, and would be good back up, Logan is worth sending out on loan to a serious club and seeing how he does there for a season (did well at Boston IIRC), but Ashdown would be a good target... ditto Camp mybe even Hoult, or might there be a loan target from the prem (Weaver, Carrol?).

Manwell Pablo Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Carlos Edwards, he should get down quicker. gone the wrong way to early doesn't regain balance just generally shithttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybTbKiLWqH8 second goal, what are you doing Paul http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZT-tAHYnUo McBrides goal is straight at him You tubes being shit so I can't do it Plenty more I can remember, Andy Grays header for Burnley springs to mind. He got a firm hand to it.
