This year is the first time I've not watched. I'm not missing it in the slightest. Like davieg says, it's not sh1t, just crap. It'll run its course eventually.

Watched it for 20 minutes or so (and what a long 20 minutes) because - with so many column inches in the news rags - I was beginning to feel socially ignorant at having never turned it on.

The few minutes was enough. Talk about moronic. You get one life. What could ever be more bloody wasteful and pointless than watching other people involved in inconsequential activity and banter. Especially when nothing they do will ever matter a damn.

It won't inspire you, it won't educate you and if, as it seems to me, it's just an excuse for voyeurism like all the other reality tv programmes - and pretty tepid voyeurism at that, then I'd sooner pass.

Watching other people do anything is only worthwhile if its exciting, inspiring, educational, provocative or genuinely emotive. This appealed to my senses about as much as putting the garbage out for collection.

If life ever gets so bad I'm reduced to watching that again, it'll be time to kop out.

i occassionally turn it on, for two reasons.

1) Saskia Howard-Clarke :D

2) Science is hilarious :P

Anyway, i was watching it last night, and the reasons for their nominations are ridicolous. They are all 'I dont like him very much because he's always moaning' or 'She just sleeps and eats, shes very boring'. Can they not think of better reasons?

I dont think its right at all though, that a TV program probably gets more column inches in the tabloids than really important news. I think that is a disgrace and for that reason, i buy broadsheets ;)

basically people who watch it, watch it because they like to gossip about people and the BB crowd are locked away so you can gossip away to your hearts content

I have watched exactly 0 minutes of Big Brother. It's exactly the same as last year's total, so I'm hoping to equal that record. It shouldn't be too hard! :P

Does it really matter if you watch it or not? Its not earth shattering one way or another really is it?

I can't stand it, haven't seen any of the reality tv programmes this year.

Not watched any of the reality TV programmes this year and not watched much of the previous years! I cant see what the fascination of watching people do shitty things every day! Live sport and movies is where it is at!

I can't understand how people slag programmes of without watching them, if you actually took the time to watch it you'd find that it can be a very amusing show.

I've sat there pissing meself many a time with the vast range of people in there, it makes comical veiwing.

Big Brother is actually an interesting experiment if you think about it. Lock a large number of people up together away from the outside world and see how they get on. Of course its built up into a big pubicity seeking stunt but its interesting to see how paranoia sets in after a few weeks. I find the programme interesting.

Each to their own as far as I'm concerned!
