  1. More than 85 people a day are killed with guns and more than twice that number are injured with them every day in the US. The only reason we're hearing about the recent shootings is because of their inflamatory nature. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/apr/16/americas-deadly-devotion-guns
  2. More so than a harmless drink?
  3. gramma dun't it just get you's wel wound up
  4. Not for consumption as in to get high, i don't think that's where the money is it's a cheaper source of things like oils, mulch for paper, clothing and medical.
  5. i was reading a piece in i think it was high times saying that if Spain was to legalise ganja and tax it their deficit would be wiped out in 6 years. The main problem is that it can be grown at home by anyone with access to sun and water and it would replace the anti depressant pharma market in the US which is a multi billion doller industry.
  6. Nick Griffin May not have committed a direct crime but undoubtedly responsible for causing more hate to be aimed at Britain and the British if i was an extremist or some sort terrorist i would use Griffins speeches / videos / face to motivate action against our Britain, for god’s sake he became our MEP, disgraceful. I'm all for free speech but if you're a fear inducing, hate mongering cvnt, you should lose some of those rights.
  7. I used to work for Ladbrokes in Liverpool, there is one bet i'd say most footy fans should know about, and this was the favourite in the betting shop and at the booths at Goodison and Anfield. (player) to score 1st or last - £1 (ew) £2 total bet. Most football matches finish 1-0 if you manage to pick the goal scorer the odds are doubled and you get it twice. eg. Beckford to score 1st or last at 4/1 - £2 bet result 1-0 to city becks scored = £2 @ 4/1 x2 as the goal qualifies as 1st and last £16 return. + stake Also you have interest in the game until the final whistle, cracking little bet that's worked for me on more than a few occasions.
  8. cyclists in general grind my gears, going up hill slower than a walk holding up all the traffic, get off and push you tw@ no ones impressed,
  9. Hey man yeah the common room is good loads of Screens, they do 3D matches (prem) n all. When i can't afford to go the Walkers i usually go the Broadfield on Abbeydale road, (local) they put whatever we want on unless wed/united are playing. I've found living in sheffield great for away games, Doncaster and Barnsley are 25mins away and Leeds / Hull an hour or so, me, my mrs and a pal drive to most of these games, so if you're stuck for a lift let us know.
  10. This could be epic if enough people sung it To the tune of Sir Mixalot's - i like big buts I Like An-dy King and i can not lie You other brothers can't deny that when Kingy chips in with a goal for the win' And Dyer is coming on You get Sprug (or something other than Sprug i can't think, suggestions please) or You're go-wing home with no points and a much poorer goal diff-rence
  11. i'm in Hillsborough Sheffield but best mate lives in Manchester (didsbury). Definitely up for meeting to watch the forest game, i literately live the Yorkshire end of snake pass so only takes me 40 mins to get to manc.
  12. Hello i've been a City fan since the Swindon Town Play-off final at Wembely 93/94 i think, I was about 10, i live in Leeds so don't get to as many home games as i would like, Favorite all time players are Heskey, Lineker, Izzett, Matty Elliot, Walshy, Fryatt, Howard - was amazing last year, Tunny's quality and i'm chuffed to bits to see Nobby Solano in the side, did anyone see him against Newcstle tonight, little cameo at the end?
