  1. When he first came here, he was a breath of fresh air. A real character. If he has become less valuable, LCFC has done that to him. I wish him all the best. We need to sell. Maximise what we can get and that means not selling to Italy or Turkish clubs who seem to have less money than Oadby Town!
  2. Wouldn't it be refreshing if the club put a statement saying that lots of work is being done behind the scenes to include an in internal review, proactive work for the season but there is nothing. That makes me think that we are getting more of the same. I have supported this club for a long time and this period of time under Top is the most disappointing and depressing. All we get is rumours of mangers and player sales. Surely you need a manager to decide or at least have an input into the squad, which includes sales. I suppose we are not wanting to add another salary until we absolutely have to.
  3. It is not a problem if Rudkin is not here! I think a lot of time has passed and I would not want Pearson's legacy tarnished. It is a different club now.
  4. Mark Robins would be a sensible choice. Liverpool sack Slot and talk to someone the next day. It is almost as though they have a plan in place. I am.not sure what ours is.....
  5. If he is available and we are serious about rebuilding I would go for Robins. Give him time. He knows the lower leagues. If the club want more of the same it will probably be Russell Martin. I don't personally do not rate him. Rudkin has not gone yet so I am guessing he is still feathering his nest. Depressing. I was offered a free ticket yesterday and declined it. It is so sad to see what has happened. Please Top do something or sell the club.
  6. We were deducted points but we were still in a reasonable position. What happened next in terms of us winning games/gaining points is just bizarre. We simply collapsed. There is no excuse for it. The women's team have been poor too. There just seems to be a culture of acceptance rather than accountability. We put a new structure in place some time ago. This is not a time for sitting on hands and holidays. The work has to start now (if it has not already). People are going to lose their jobs because the club will need to cost cut but that cannot just be the tea lady and the club shop cleaner (they have probably performed in their roles as they should and are not to blame) it has to be higher up in the organization or nothing will change.
  7. That is one thing I did not agree with. We have always been a yo yo club. Arguably too good for championship but not good enough for the top tier. We certainly have not been a bottom half championship team. Don't disagree with your points. The biggest issue is getting some of the high earners out. I doubt anyone will compete with "Generous Leicester" for some of the dross we will have left.
  8. Listened to this. Really informative. Worth 50 minutes of time. We need to get some plans made and then act quickly. The club cannot afford to sit on its hands. There is going to need to be significant cost savings.
  9. Perhaps he wants them in the shop window. Trouble is we are Poundland now.
  10. I am not going to bother wasting any time on Saturday bothering with this. It seems they are all planning their exits. Probably have been for some time. Well off you pop. What has Rudkin been analysing this season? how to get the biggest sick notes, no hopes and no marks. Congratulations you achieved your goal. Ramsey has a month out when he cuts his finger nails. I thought Bertrand was bad but he has a rival. Just get them all gone. No doubt Mr Rudkin will still be here masterminding next year's demise. He cannot possibly be a fan of the club or he has absolutely no shame.
  11. He will soon be gone. We will have a new hero to endure.
  12. He is the least of the problems we have. Look at the four managers before him. Cooper barely given five minutes. Ruud was dreadful. I lost my love for LCFC during his reign. People wanted Marti gone. The wish was granted. No idea of who to appoin to replace him. King given the gig. Disaster. Rowett has done okay. The club culture is rotten. The players attitude and commitment stink. The ownership has not got a clue.and until that changes no manager has much of a chance. Honestly, with Daka and Ayew as your hope for goals is.it a surprise we cannot score. Clubs answer is to somehow find loan signings even less capable. Rowett will not be here next year and having seen how things are you would have to be crazy to want the job with things as they are.
  13. Watch vesty run back. He would be out run by a sloth!
  14. I am not being funny ( well not deliberately) but we have drosa dross and more dross. It is not as if we have a ton of talent to take the places of the useless and uninterested. I would not play the kids tonight. We are paying Milwall. Likely to be a toxic atmosphere and it is no place for the young lads who may be impacted by the hostility when it really is not their fault. Let the deserving feel the anger of the fans.
