When he first got in the team Thomas looked like a half decent prospect. He looks absolutely shot now. He looks worse than when he came into the side. He is weak and we need some strength and a willingness to put it all on the line. A Ben Thatcher, Fuchs, Whitlow type. They would not be brushed off the ball like he was on Saturday. It happens with him quite a bit. He is not all of our problems but is certainly a pretty consistent part of it. Souttar.and Okoli should be good enough for this league but they have not been great. We are okay at right back. How we can sign 50 keepers and barely one of them.is any good is beyond me. I am not a manager probably never will be but you cannot just keep signing your mates and hope they will dig you out of a massive hole. When Pearson was here he signed leaders. O'Neill had Walsh Taggart and Elliott. We need those types to get us out of this league. I don't think RM gets that at all and he does not even pretend to. His arrogance is very worryingly misplaced. .

Thanks. I hope I have got it wrong but I don't I have. I saw this coming when we got relegated from the premier league for the second time. We are sliding and fast. We need to have a manager that we can get behind. This manager is not that. He may be a nice bloke. The players may like him. He is not there for that reason and he needs to grasp that and quick.

I have defended a few of our recent managers. I thought they should have more time. My view on RM has been I am not sure the club will get rid because of financial reasons. However, I have seen nothing to suggest we are going to be troubling the promotion or play off places and that is a minimum we should be going for. The squad has been overhauled and it needs time to gel but I am very concerned we are heading to League 2. We seem to have the perfect storm Top, Jon and now Russell. Jon says he takes his share of the responsibility but he does not. He is still here. Top won't get rid of him and is out of his depth. They are a double act of depressing and repeated ineptitude. RM boasts about having lots of shots and we should be grateful, but they are not goals. We cannot defend. We are weak, soft centred and too nice. We are not getting many points and we are getting beaten by some very poor teams. Wake up before it is too late. I have stopped going and fell out of love with LCFC. I never thought that day would come. I have supported the club for getting on for 50 years so have seen it bad before but not like this.

The only thing I am interested in hearing is that he has decided to leave. He cannot have any love or respect for the club.

We just look so poor. The overhaul has not had the desired effect. That is down to RM in my view. He seems to sending the message out that his "important stats" are all that matters. Wrong. The stats that always matter are how many you score and how many you concede and your points. We need some solid old pros with leadership qualities and no link with Southampton!

So we have had 135 shots. sadly Russell you do not get points for shots. You get them for stopping them at one end and scoring with them at the other. It really is that simple. Do we need to try and play like Spain and Man City to beat teams at this level? Again I will let you into a secret RM, we are not either!!

Faes back. Why? I think this is a big mistake. We are trying to create a new squad/team ethic and now bring him back. I have seen nothing in him to suggest he is going to change his attitude. Give it 20 minutes and his arm will be flapping around. I may be wrong and hope I am, but he would not be near the team if I was the manager. You have to set standards.

Is this part of the tactics? Mess around and give them the ball on the edge of our box? This reminds me of David Pleat!!

I have said my bit on RM. We have just lost 4 nil at home to Oxford. Let that sink in. A good proportion of the managers in recent times have not been good enough. The common theme is who keeps selecting them. If it is true that we have been after RM for a while then that hirer is the issue. Top won't get rid of himself. He needs to start thinking like a businessman. He then can maximise his sale price, which makes financial sense. I wonder if we could tempt someone to come as DOF to start again. Rudkin has to go because not only do the fans dislike him but it may be that anyone decent won't work with him. I would like to see someone like nigel Pearson or someone like Neil Warnock. They have the experience to oversee the start of an overhaul that we are absolutely crying out for. We need to stabalise quickly and I don't think the free fall has ended yet.

This is what you will get with young kids. I guess the game was awful. They are going to have off days. I would rather get behind them than the mercenaries of the last few seasons. Please don't suck the life and confidence out of these boys. They will be okay given half a chance.

Martin will not be going anywhere folks. He is yet another poor choice from a leadership team who are clueless. Our best hope is that the club is sold and then finally we may get some direction (we do have one currently - downwards). It looks unlikely he is shifting today. Fingers crossed something happens in next few days. Who would have thought such a brilliant player and all round good egg would be so difficult to move on!

Probably the wrong place to put this but when the window shuts Spurs Chelsea and Man City have spent some serious money. Spurs not investigated...yet. Man City judgement being written by hand with a quill. Chelsea may he doing wrong and they may admit it in a few years and get a small fine for being so honest. It has become a disgusting game.

No I would not. He is a negative influence and we are trying to rebuild. He needs to know he is not bigger than the club and that he has played his last game here.

I hope he is gone by Tuesday. We need him gone. He does not want to be here and we don't want him. Surely a deal can be reached, when the panic sets in. I would be ringing Spurs as they have more money than sense!

I quite like Harry. However if he is on big wages and in addition his injury record I would move him on. We cannot afford to be a charity.

I thought SUFC had financial problems. How are they talking on HC? If his wages go fine by me.

Agree with your post. We have an owner who wants out and his best mate at the helm. Disinterested in what we do at best, unless it maximises sale price. They have chosen RM. We are stuck with him. We have been financially mismanaged. We now are trying to reset. We must rid of the players who are killing the club financially.or we won't have a club. The kids we would have been loaning out can now get the chance to play and hopefully thrive. They need out support and it is not always going to be easy to do that as everyone wants success. I would rather have a group who actually care than the utter dross we have had to endure for the last 2 to 3 years.

It is shocking he was bought as a premier league player.and is not good enough for league 1!! Golding still nowhere to be seen. Has anyone ever actually seen him? Faes, Choudhury picking up weekly what most of us have to slog a year or two for. The only saving grace is we are still not in the premier league otherwise we would be paying 10 million to sign a tea lady from Man City!
