  1. Highlights of our game on the BBC sport website: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59911348
  2. The commentary actually said that we’d put out a strong team for the match, and that Watford had made seven changes!
  3. Deleted post as wrong info
  4. Tickets go up to general price sales on match day for season ticket holders. Does anyone know if that’s a strict deadline of midnight tonight on the website?
  5. You seem to have Cherry-picked a study that doesn’t really provide the strongest evidence for what you’re trying to prove. This is just an abstract, a seemingly anecdotal report by one person, not a peer-reviewed study with actual data presented. My first thought upon reading that abstract would be, wouldn’t one expect to see an increase in immune/inflammatory mediators after a vaccine? - that’s what a vaccine is supposed to do in order to work, elicit an immune response. So I’d question whether they’d looked for the same responses with other vaccines. if you follow one of the the links attached to that abstract, where there have been some peer review, you will see that there is a warning, and the lack of statistical evidence is highlighted, along with the lack of evidence versus other vaccines and control subjects: Soon after publication of the above abstract in Circulation, it was brought to the American Heart Association Committee on Scientific Sessions Program’s attention that there are potential errors in the abstract. Specifically, there are several typographical errors, there is no data in the abstract regarding myocardial T-cell infiltration, there are no statistical analyses for significance provided, and the author is not clear that only anecdotal data was used. We are publishing this Expression of Concern until a suitable correction is published to indicate that the abstract in its current version may not be reliable. Anyway, don't want to bang on about science in a football thread- but I do believe I am qualified to comment on unreliable assertions, as I am a scientist! Annoyed about the Norvich game being postponed, was looking forward to a 3pm Saturday kick off. Looks like a future midweek trawl up to Leicester now 🙁
  6. I feel for you. I booked the afternoon off work to drive up from Oxfordshire. Waste of an afternoon off, but at least I haven’t set off yet.
  7. Still nothing on the LCFC website!
  8. Apologies, I hadn’t read the next page! Does the NHS app still work to track people when abroad? 🤷
  9. What do you think the passenger locator forms are for?!
  10. I think even with Omicron you don’t have to isolate now if double jabbed. Just have to take lateral flow tests for the next 7 days
  11. Yes, a friend who flew with me has been pinged now too
  12. Yeah, I just did a test and I’m negative 😅
  13. I just got a text from NHS test and trace, thanks to your mate! Luckily I’m vaccinated so don’t have to isolate
  14. Naples to Luton on Ryanair on Friday at 5:35pm? Will people on that flight be told to isolate?
  15. Which flight were they on? Hopefully not mine
  16. Yeah, the refreshments kiosk definitely brought to mind a school tuck shop! I got there at 2-0 down, desperate for something to drink after the near three hours on the bus. Went down at half time, huge queue for one little table, cash only. I only had a card on me, so had to stay dehydrated until I got back to my hotel later. I expected more, with this being a top Serie A club with a big stadium. Naples in general seemed a bit third world to me 😆
  17. 1-0 down, still on the bus 🥺
  18. Th email we got today said “Supporters are required to use dedicated nearby shuttle buses to travel to and from the stadium”, so pretty much compulsory. Should’ve risked a taxi. This is awful. Still an hour from the stadium
  19. In Naples, but will miss the game at this rate. On the bus for over 90 minutes so far with the police escort, further away than when we started. People started pissing on the floor in the bus! 🥺 should've watched at home on TV
  20. Been on the bus 90 minutes already, further from the stadium than when we started. Will miss kick off for sure. It’s a disgrace, follow club’s instructions, miss the game 🙁
  21. I got on the bus at 4:30. We haven’t moved from the departure point yet 🙁
  22. 5pm sounds a bit more civilised. Maybe I’ll am for 4:30 🙂
  23. I was told that the last buses for the stadium leave at 4pm, is that correct, anyone else told that? Seems kind of early…
  24. They seem to do tests in pharmacies, I think I’ve found one round the corner from me in Rome. Now I have to decide whether to do that on Wednesday and risk falling foul of whether it has to be done 48 hours or 2 days before flying back, or wait until I’m at the airport in Naples on Friday. The feel that the sooner I do the test, the less chance for me to catch something and end up testing positive and stranded over here
  25. I think I’ll be getting mine in Naples. Looks like the you can get it done at the airport
