  1. My god that’s poor. Slowed it down, took a few seconds and Fatawu finds himself flagged for offside. What a waste.
  2. Decent effort from Daka to take that on first time.
  3. We just seemed to stand still with all that space ahead of us. Baffling.
  4. He’s gone for “experience”, unfortunately he doesn’t seem to realize it’s our “experienced” players that got us into this mess and keep letting us down. Fair to say he wasn’t universally popular to begin with, and he’s not helped himself persisting with the same formation and relying on the same useless tossers that have done nothing all season. We just failed to beat Sheffield Wednesday, too, so that’s going to count against him.
  5. The team is doing everything they can to make sure the points deduction can’t be blamed for our relegation. You have to respect that.
  6. If that’s the standard of the competition in League One next season… we’re in trouble.
  7. Presumably Glover “found him” with his extensive scouting network (based entirely at St Mary’s) and Dudkin did the business.
  8. Wayne Rooney almost guaranteed, because Top & Bumpkin have heard of him.
  9. If we stay up, I reckon he’s going to be offered a new long term contract at the end of the season. Five years at 40k/wk so we don’t have to cough up for two new strikers this summer. Whether he takes it or not remains to be seen. Then we’ll probably buy Tom Cannon. Cannon & Daka as our strikers for 2026/27… you just can’t rule it out.
  10. My worry is who they replace him with if we do stay up. I’m also hugely concerned by who they replace him with if we go down. I have less than zero faith they’ll hire the right man no matter what the circumstances. We’ll probably fanny about until July 20th trying to get a straight answer out of Potter again. If Rowett goes at the end of the season, his replacement isn’t arriving until about two weeks before the season, with all the knock on effects that’ll have on our planning and recruitment. Now, I’m not saying I actively want to keep Gaz… I had hoped he would have been a good fit, more points on the board by now. The progress just hasn’t been good enough, I’ve been disappointed so far… The persistence with Ayew is a sackable offence at this point. But would I rather stick with the devil we know or trust Dudkin to find someone else? Tough call… just think of the usual suspects that get linked when we’re in the market. Gerrard, anyone?
  11. No different to the Rodgers era. Or the Cooper flirtation. Or the Marti experiment. We weren’t immune under Enzo either. Arguably the only recent manager who didn’t have this problem was Van Nistelrooy… not scoring goals meant never having a lead to surrender. Genius.
  12. That’s not difficult, I’m within touching distance of Edouard and I’ve lived on the other side of the pond for twenty five years.
  13. Is that you, Martyn?
  14. Seven minutes of stoppage time. That’s approximately an hour’s worth with Ayew falling over to break things up.
  15. Ayew on to finish the job of eating the pitch, blade by blade.
  16. Good shot by Okoli there.
  17. This is bloody horrible. This is not a Good Friday.
  18. My god that’s poor.
  19. Well that was a bit shit.
  20. Stolarczyk 1 Ricardo 21 Okoli 5 Lascelles 24 L. Thomas 33 Skipp 22 Winks 8 Fatawu 7 Mukasa 29 Mavididi 10 Daka 20 I wonder what formation it’s supposed to be?
  21. That’s not really fair. He does know his arse from his elbow, he’s just hired them for the wrong jobs. He’s got an elbow watching the back door and an arse down one side.
  22. My god you’re right. I had clearly blocked that whole sorry episode out of my mind… Rodgers, who has guided Leicester to successive fifth-placed finishes in the Premier League - although they are 10th this season - says complacency has crept in among his players and changes need to be made. And, he added, "time could be up" for some of his squad. "Too many players think they are top players but are a long way off," said Rodgers. "Some players may have achieved everything they can here.
  23. In fairness to the little troll, he wasn’t saying that in 21/22, it was before the start of 22/23… and he was right, we didn’t back him that summer… we couldn’t, because we had gambled on him the summer before and he blew it. He couldn’t exactly say that last bit though. You can’t get a nice little payoff if you admit you’re at fault for the thing you’re complaining about. He was trying to get sacked
