  1. Okoli there having a cheeky look up that lad’s shorts.
  2. The cost of beating Ipswich will be losing at home to Queen’s Pork Bangers and away to Sheffield Wednesday.
  3. Illustrates the scale of the Bodgers failure in 2021/22. We gambled on Bodgers, Dongerton and Dudkin putting together a squad that would finally push into the top four at the third time of asking. Gambled on securing Champions League revenues, clearly planning only for that outcome and not say missing out on the CL… or the Europa, or Europe at all… Clearly evident in 2022/23 is the massive dive the profitability took when our Europe-ready expenses met our Europe-less revenues. The scale of the gamble is plain to see in those charts. The failure to qualify for what we had clearly relied upon had a clear impact on the numbers. It was a disaster. And we’re paying for it long term.
  4. Couldn’t. Half the signatures are of under-18s. Ayew was supposed to sign it first, but he instinctively went to ground as soon as he felt the marker make the slightest contact with his hand. Kristiansen signed the shirt the same way he passes the ball - backwards. The shirt eventually made its way to Mavididi, but he didn’t bother to pass it on to anyone else.
  5. We’d manage to concede a lot of goals if we built an eight foot high brick wall on the goal line.
  6. As hapless as we are, could see us grabbing points here. False Dawn 3.0. Sheffield Wednesday is the real test.
  7. A couple of traffic cones maybe.
  8. I put a large amount of blame on Bodgers and the 22/33 Bottlers for their pathetic efforts that led to the first relegation. But mostly I blame Top & Dudkin for allowing it to get to that point. The absolute lack of leadership, and planning has been demonstrated time and time again. Allow Bodgers to freewheel far too long before taking action and then having no plan in place to address the issue. Rinse and repeat after Enzo left. Again after sacking Cooper. Again after sacking Ruud. And after Cifuentes. We seem to float along assuming everything will work out because we are who we are. We seemingly haven’t had a clue what comes tomorrow, let alone a month or year from now, since we won the FA Cup if not before. **** the lot of them. Everyone associated with the club - almost no exceptions - in the last five years. Utterly embarrassing.
  9. That house of cards tumbled almost as quickly as Jordan Ayew.
  10. As always it’s the hope that gets you. A few green shoots of recovery in the two away draws… and then this team of builders have turned up and poured concrete over the whole ****ing lot.
  11. **** basically everyone that’s been involved with the club in the last five years with almost no exceptions (Vardy aside). Bodgers and the bottlers in 22/23. Dongerton and (Southampton G)lover for their bollocks scouting. Top & Dudkin for their general ineptitude, sluggish decision making and complete lack of forward planning. Utterly piss poor in every sense for five years. Since the FA Cup win.
  12. Ayew throwing himself on the deck again. Fanny.
  13. Ayew’s first touch (of the pitch with his knees) in the books.
  14. Well Ayew is getting ready, so that’s that then.
  15. Well that was shit.
  16. Yeah, unfortunately for them Ayew is on the bench today.
  17. “What the **** are you doing lying down on your face, Jordan, you great ****ing plum” is what I’m at least 25% sure he was saying.
  18. West Brom have just sacked their manager. Good job we didn’t dither and appointed our Gary when we did.
  19. Here’s how it’ll play out. Gaz does a decent job and keeps us up comfortably. Performances improving all the time. Gets given a handshake and a if he’s lucky even a word of “thanks” come the middle of June. The board shuffles in another stifling possession for the sake of possession type mush, and the season starts catastrophically badly. Lazy; disinterested, as much serious goal threat as a dead llama… all the hallmarks of an immediate relegation. By about September 15th, he’s been sacked (one solitary point on the board) and they call for Gary to return to restore the team to its relative former glory. Stick a fiver on it… our next Manger is the first one sacked next season, and his replacement is Rowett… probably about three weeks after.
  20. After Skipp diverted a ball away late in stoppage time, the camera lingered on him for about ten seconds… he looked completely, utterly, absolutely and totally done for. He put a shift in. And that’s what we need right now. Effort.
  21. Back in June.
  22. We complain we don’t have any strikers when that’s clearly not true. Half of our squad have downed tools at one point or another in the last few years.
  23. Not a bad idea, but I think playing Divine in place of a Greek food would be a better bet.
  24. Read that too quickly first time and saw “done his fanny”
