Also surely the fact that we were directly impacted by Everton and Forest cheating should play a part? Ive no doubt the club and its lawyers are highlighting the current player laundering in the league too, allowing Newcastle, Chelsea, Villa, Everton and Forest to avoid further punishment.

Some strikers are better in 2’s, some are better by themselves. Some excel at both. You make a fair point but I disagree with you. Daka is a good pressing forward and would partner someone like Fullkrug or a Morata style striker quite well. Dakas only consistent and covincing spell in his career came while playing alongside one of ,Berisha, Haaland or Keita. He excelled in 4-3-1-2/4-2-2-2’s. It’s not a moronic idea in Dakas case, neither would it be with many other strikers…look at Lautaro Martinez for example: unreal as a pair but none of the powerhouses in Europe who play a lone striker have gone in for him. Can see us keeping Daka but, for me, it makes no sense if we send Cannon out on loan?! Daka isn’t a lone striker and the only way I can see him working is in a two with Cannon (and then one of Fatawu/Reid/Mav behind). Daka and Vardy as a partnership makes no sense whatsoever and neither can function as a loan striker.

So that makes Daka’s remaining book value around 8m?

At last some good news - Anjem Choudary has been jailed for life.

Locals are saying that a man went into a Summer school at a Nursery and stabbed over 15 children, some already being described as fatal. Nothing confirmed yet of course. Also reports of stabbings at a local McDonald’s too.

So have Teachers, Police Officers, Firefighters, Nurses, Border Force staff, etc etc etc. We need more of all the above and this large pay rise will no doubt limit pots available for other much needed rises.

Over 1,000 assaults on Officers in Leicestershire ALONE in ONE calendar year. Thats roughly two assaults per each frontline response cop. This doesn’t even take into account the huge amount of ‘resisting arrest’ officers face and the fine line between aggressively ‘resisting’ and plain assault.
