Has to be a right back, right wing and then either a cb or cdm that's not easily ran through and a proper leader .. one or the other to make us tougher

Id definitely like us to bring in a proper solid centre back that can lead us through games, but the main priorities are RB, RW, LB and probably a solid CDM Our CBs are pretty poor, but I don't blame them really for the chances we are giving away.. they're too exposed by us being for too easily over run on both flanks and through the non existent midfield where we really lack pace If I'm honest, if we stay up, I'd love to look at the back for and 2 holding mids and they be 6 new players.. as for Jnauary I'd settle for half of that. We're still scoring goals, but the chances are drying up fast and I think that's due to absolutely zero threat on the right now Abduls out. Suggestion wise, no idea

Sometimes it don't matter how good or bad the coach is, if players are constantly out of position, not reading the game and giving the ball away, it's just down to a lack of ability isn't it? I mean Wolves have been poor all season and that's obviously a big part due to the coaches.. but like O'Neil said about the goals they conceded yesterday, particularly their second.. if they've coached them all week and the players still aren't in the right areas it's on the players. There ain't no way any of our coaches.. even as useless as Cooper was, has trained our defenders to play as they have. The players in them areas have been crap for the past three seasons.. 22/23 relegated 23/24 got away with it against championship forwards 24/25 mads to the rescue but still conceding for fun. At right back we've got two players that are constantly injured, and have gone backwards since their ACLs etc, left back we've VK who gets beaten far to easily and Thomas who is bottom half championship at best. CBs, Faes don't seem to want to be here and is a calamity waiting to happen, vesty is too slow for this league, as is Coady. The only half decent one we have is Okoli and he doesn't look up to speed with the league yet. Only one out of them with leadership ability is Coady, but hes championship level now so doesn't set the tone on the pitch. Ultimately we need to invest in better defenders, at least one whose got the ability to lead by example anyway, similar to when we loaned Huth to allow us to literally limp over the line this season

Was always coming. Best three midfielders we have were all out, depth after that is vacant. Beat Wolves and lose the next three. 17 points from 20 games we will be more than still in the race and have the transfer window to use. Personally we're in a better position than I thought we would be even if it is still crap.

Must fancy McAteers defensive abilities over Facundo, otherwise I see no reason why he's made that choice. Trust his decision though Just keep in the game for the first half, frustrated them, then there is a positive outcome available in this one. Cone on lads

Completely agree in wishing him well. Tbh even if he'd left under a cloud I'd wish him well, ain't got the time to be bitter. I actually thought going Chelsea he'd have been utilised and starred for Chelsea for 6-10 games as Enzo knew him, maybe got a national call up and then dropped down to where he is now by January. But it looks like he's gone straight to the bottom. I just find him over rated. He'd improve our squad to give us a better chance of staying up though, but not the 11, which is really what we need to be improving imo. But, he is our level, a bottom half Premier League player I suppose, just BEK and Facundo are better I think.

Haha yea I know we need pace but also a bit more physicality with know how would help. (Not as good as Huth was but a similar mould). Can't see where a decent quality pacey cb comes from in January without paying over the odds

Unless it's a chance of bringing Barnes back we shouldn't be chucking 30m at any player until July, definitely not KDH Like you hint at, any new players need to be improving the 11 not just the squad depth. Has to be a centre back (even a loan for Maguire for 6 months would do) and a right back as priority. Everywhere else we aren't too terrible. Maybe a right winger if ones available too. Lots of talk about attacking players, but we are actually scoring a decent enough amount of goals.. it's keeping them out that's a major worry ain't it

Completely agree on rather having Bilal and Facundo. I do think when Facundo returns in the summer if we stay up we will have a look at the option of bringing KDH back then, but personally I don't rate him as a premier league player myself. There's much better value out there.. look at Facundos loan for instance, I'd rather borrow again if we got that talent.. although it won't be him, he'll either star for them or be flogged to the highest bidder (chelsea) I just think Brighton seemed to be very keen on him and apparently he almost went there, and they were keen in January too, so maybe they'll try one last time

Brighton will come back in for him I reckon. They were the only ones that seemed genuinely interested in buying and actually using him. Chelsea just bought him to please Enzo. But when he saw the difference between KDH and what they already he had, Kiernan no hope. If he's still at Chelsea next summer, then I could see us maybe sticking in a big for him after Facundo goes back, but personally I'd see that as a massive downgrade myself. The only one I'd like back that left in recent years would be Barnes.

If Harvey Barnes was a genuine option I'd 100% be looking at that. Way above Mavididis level. I'd also take slab head on loan for six months if available too, better than what we have. Other than that I've no idea whose available but left back and right back need sorting ASAP too.
