  1. I do agree he's had a poor tournament as have most of the English players but he's won something like 7 premier league titles and a champions league plus multiple domestic cups and he's only 23/24? I don't think you become a mainstay in a Pep team without being a bit special
  2. Harry Kane player manager. Guaranteed trophies
  3. Tuchel is a better manager than Poch imo
  4. We have one in my opinion in Foden but he's never really performed for England
  5. Those three would be far too opinionated for the FA's liking. It'll be another bland puppet
  6. Fair play to him for that. Time for a freshen up and a better tactician
  7. Yeah I must admit I've not liked what I've seen from Bellingham in this tournament. I get he's had a meteoric rise but I think he needs to concentrate more on his game and tone down the arrogance. That "who else" bollocks was embarrassing
  8. I just don't know how anybody can be inspired by a Southgate type. He strikes me as a wet lettuce and hasn't got any real stature in the game. We need someone who isn't afraid of making big calls and ruffling some feathers
  9. That Romanian man named Man
  10. Seen that Tuchel wants it. Not sure how reliable but I'd be all over that
  11. We are guilty of overrating our own players though. The comparisons I've seen being made to Bellingham already have been laughable. Apart from a couple of moments he was largely anonymous. As were the likes of Rice, Foden and Kane etc. And I know a lot of it is Southgate but it certainly isn't the complete picture
  12. That's the issue I think
  13. I think long term I'd like it to be English but I genuinely feel a world class manager makes the changes needed to win us one of the next two tournaments. Any English manager feels more of a project
  14. It's gonna sound very simplistic but we need to appoint the very best candidate we can get. If that means getting knocked back by the likes of Pep, Klopp etc then so be it. I don't buy into the notion that it has to be English but if it is then I can't see past Howe or Potter.
  15. I'll have more respect for Southgate if he calls it a day. He can't take us any further and despite his obvious shortcomings he has done some things well. It takes a strong person to admit they're not the right man for the job
  16. Why isn't he pressed on this point? That's disgraceful imo and shows that some players are bigger than the team. We need a manager who is strong enough to make the big decisions
  17. It depends what levels you mean. Having him take up a starting spot has been a hindrance for the whole tournament and almost anybody else would've been a better alternative. Southgate coming out after the final saying they struggled to get Kane up to speed is criminal He'll still be fine to stat pad in the qualifiers but surely he can't be considered our first choice striker for the next world cup
  18. On a positive note what a talent Cole Palmer is. Nothing seems to phase this kid. Completely carried Chelsea last season and now scoring in the final of an international tournament. Maybe a rare Pep mistake letting him leave
  19. Spot on Phillipa. It's as clear as day
  20. No he'd have gone missing with the rest. Would have told some of the journalists to stop saying nasty things though
  21. I will never again even entertain the argument that this guy is world class. He's a master of failure and was a detriment to the team. On the other hand, he's doesn't pick himself every game so it's on the other failure
  22. ****ing hell can we not?! I need a holiday
  23. Don Goodman? I thought Jermaine Jenas was scraping the barrel
