  1. multiple contracts need agreeing to by coaches, back room staff, agents, directors, and solicitiors. These things don't happen overnight. And yes, all it takes is one unreasonable demand to throw the whole thing up in the air.
  2. I didn't say that at all. I said no material impact within 24 hrs. You said "it’s a shame we haven’t told him we need him in place for the weekend." My arguement is that even if arriving on a Friday morning he isnt going to have a materislistic input into anything other than a pep talk for the Brenford game. Even if deal is done today that pep talk will still take place tomorrow. Why would he put his name to managing the side with less than 24 hrs experience of them and potentially ruin the start of his career with us? Sit back and relax.
  3. why on earth would the club do that when he can have no material affect on the team other than a pep talk? He will givethat pep talk anyway tomorrow and then coach them for the West Ham game albeit he again wont have much to play with. In reality, he wants to start on the ground running so in reality the Brighton game on 08 December will be his first proper game.
  4. fee undisclosed but absolutely no way we paid £20m.
  5. Rudkin is the Martha (Baby Reindeer) of DOFs - I bet half of the agents have blocked his number and reported him to the old bill.
  6. given that one bookie suspended betting on Parker last night and two bookies at least (Betfred and betfair) have taken City off teh manager specials I suspect Parker will be announced in next 24-48 hrs. BR looks to be going to Celtic but unsure what happened with Enzo.
  7. That's nailed on written by a brexiteer gammon
  8. Wow, there are some belters on here. Top is a young man and paid the price of inexperience in allowing Rudkin and Whelan to run the club into the ground. His statement is never going disclose anything meaningful as you don't show your hand in Poker. This is no time for knee jerk reactions, a considered measured approach is required. Allow the investigation to take place and act accordingly. If the investigation is carried out by Whelan and Rudkin it may be a case of Top giving them enough rope to hang themselves. On the other hand he could be buying time to secure suitable replacements. The criticism over the Rodgers sacking was that there was no plan in place for an alternative - well just think of the catastrophe of sacking a CEO and DOF without the personnel to fill those positions. If Top has learned from this I suspect he will be allowing tweedle dee and teweedle dum to go about their duties whilst looking into replacements within 4-6 weeks. Patience is required as you cant turn this around in a few weeks. oh and btw, to all those Top haters £194,000,000.00.
  9. Please can we just get rid for the sake of saving our season.......I cant believe he is still here. Other clubs would have sacked him last night.
  10. spot on. Football club and government both have clowns in charge.
  11. Is this a parody post? YBS started in mid eighties anyway.
  12. For those saying 'what's the problem?'. Here's my take on it. 1. If the law is the law then fair enough. However, the MP for Charnwood communicated with the Sports minister and he is seemingly saying that there is no government insistance that any fans have to travel by organised coach. Now, we are talking about Tories here so he may be wrong but it sounds like the club blatantly lied. If they lied, then this is misrepresentation at point of sale. Coach travel plus ticket actually falls under the Package travel regulations 2015/18 - you are entitled to seek redress. I would say that we are entitled to demand they cancel the coach ticket with a full refund 2. For people such as me that live 5 mins walk from Harborough train station I am having to get a taxi north to bus south and do the reverse on the way back. That is adding £80 on to my coach ticket. This is a much longer journey, covering more miles and time and in a less covid secure environment. If I was training it I can be in london from my doorstep in 55 mins and at wembley 30 mins later. With the coach from my house it will take more like 5-6 hours all told allowing for logistics. Getting back to saffron lane at 11pm with 3500 others and trying to get a taxi home? God knows how that will pan out. 3. As the club was able to identify postcodes why didn't they use that information to organise coaches from Harborugh, Oakham, Melton, Loughborough, Coalville, Lutterworth, Hinckley, Oadby, Birstall, City centre etc etc. 4. Why are coaches unallocated? This is madness and will lead to trouble at the grounds as people attempt to sit together in groups. 3500 and Ive been told by teh club that no coaches will take more than 25 pax. That then is a minimum of 140 coaches. This will be carnage. 5. We have been told just turn up at 10.30 onwards. So, 3500 descend on the KP at 10.30. Given safe distancing of 2m apart that is a 7km queue. 6. Communication has been and remains totally shambolic. i have not had my tickets or any firm communication about logistics. This gives me no confidence in how the issue has been handled and I wouldn't be surprised is some people dont arrive at Wembley until a very short while before KO having arrived at the KP at 10.30am. .
  13. just for anyone how has bought multiple tickets in a single transaction:
