Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official

He who must not be named 😂 -
Delusions of grandeur spring to mind. As long as Cooper keeps us out of the relegation zone I'll be happy (sort of). All we need to do this season is stay up!

Ex Players - They used to play for us

Of course he doesn't. There's a while song around it 😂 -
Press conferences are pointless now. No one asks any decent questions, it's all blowing smoke up the managers arse. One of the reasons I stopped listening to BBC Radio Leicester too.

Ticket Exchange: Positive Feedback
blue army 1988 replied to Union FS's topic in Ticket News and Travel
I thought you sold it to the club and then they had to sell it on for them. So if no one buys it, it's just a waste of a ticket that I could have possibly given to a friend. -

Do you get the money even if the club do not sell your ticket on? -
I bet they will won't mention it next season either for our 141st anniversary. Rubbish club........Rudkin out
-
Problem is, it's fashionable to blame Rudkin now. I bet 70% of the forum doesn't really know what he does but still jump on the bandwagon of wanting him out. Meanwhile the finance director gets away with it. Hardly ever see anything about her.
-
Isn't it the finances that are the problem? Shouldn't it be her who people are hating?

Leicester 1 - 2 Villa POST MATCH

Apart from the Morocco guy who's just joined, who would you have played in the AM role? I think there hasn't been any reaction is because, as you said, Wilf was being played in the AM role and also because we don't have much options there. When this new guy gets up to speed in can see Wilf on the bench -
He wanted out at the beginning of the Championship season. He stayed because the Belgium manager spoke to him and said to spend a season in the Championship wouldn't affect his place in the Belgium squad. In the Prem, change of manager and bleak out look, can't really blame him for wanting gone
-
Do you not realise that you have to take a punt on players. I'll give you Bertrand, should never have touched him but I think that was more Rogers doing. Soumare was being raved about as the next best thing. Just won the league with his team and classed as a great box to box midfielder. No one knew that when he crossed into the UK he was less box to box more blade to blade of grass. Daka the same. Chelsea wanted him at one point, but who don't they want. You can't say that because they didn't work out here they were rubbish. Look at Perez who we signed from Newcastle. Great at Newcastle, shit here, great at whatever club he's at now and managed to get in the Spain squad.

Steve Cooper: The Tactics Thread
blue army 1988 replied to SecretPro's topic in Leicester City Forum
But we are in the Premiership this season. By your ideas, if we had kept the same team, we should win the league. -
Seems like he was bought because him and Enzo are "friends". No way he's going to get a sniff at that club with some very good players ahead of him
-
And then they roll out "respect the ref" campaigns. Ridiculous.

I think we saw against Tottenham we don't have the players to play it out the back in the Prem. We kick it long to halfway line. Hopefully win the header and then pass it backwards to defence/holding midfielder and start from there. Long winded and risky process but less risky than the other team closing us down quickly. -
Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official

I think if 🤞 we get another striker then Mavididi will come in for BDCR and he will be more of a bench player. -
PSR breaches would be on Whelan. She is the financial person of the club. All money and accounting would go through her. Yes he may put certain things on the table, but to sign financial aspects off would be Whelan. It wasn't his decision to keep or sack Rodgers. I do agree he has to be accountable with the football operations strategy side.
-
I agree tbh. While I'm not 100% Rudkin in or out, I do think over his tenure he's had a number of great hits and a number of misses too. I feel like he's being scapegoated for the overall club. We are in this problem because of money. He isn't the money man of the club.
-
Absolutely amazed Whelan doesn't get slated on here. IMO she's been the worst.
-
He'll be starting soon. If not on the bench for a little while but he will be in the team for the second part of the season
-
First off I'm not patronising people. It gets so irritating when people are saying why he doesn't play etc etc. Like there isn't a reason, just Cooper being an idiot. I've been around on Foxes Talk for many years to understand that's over 50% of our fan base but it just got to me today. If people did feel patronised then I apologise. Secondly, you've said what a load of tripe but not given any reason for it. Would love to hear your opinion.

Potter was shown around the training ground and the stadium. I know that for a fact. Why we he didn't become our manager has many different rumours. The backroom staff rumour doesn't seem very true as we were extremely light in that department anyway and most new managers always try and bring one or two old faces with them. I heard it was more down to commitment to the job.
-
No we don't really know that. But if I had to play the odds, I would say the state we are currently in and the uncertainty of our future with points deduction and selling players, I wouldn't have thought many managers would have wanted to come. Premiership or championship experience or foreign. But like you say, we don't really know anything.
-
Press rumours that he wanted to come. Maybe because he kind of played the same style of Enzo. Not one of us truly knows he was even in for the job.
