  1. Fears of Steve Bruce walking through the door... nice bloke but terrible manager. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/28123041/steve-bruce-newcastle-west-brom-man-utd/
  2. This is a huge throw out... Austin MacPhee mainly worked behind the scenes at clubs but most credit him for his great set peice coaching. Maybe a tad gamble but certainly not impossible. Part of same coaching team that got northern ireland to euro 2016. Scotland to the recent euros and villas first champions league qualification in over 30 years. Maybe hes just a positive jinx 😁
  3. Shows times have changed by now, previously every time news a manager is leaving or left. MON always gets a shout, probably the first time ever MON is not mentioned
  4. Budget limits us, five years ago we were the most attractive job in the premier league around, now with possible points deduction and maybe no money in bank for transfers it don't look exciting. It's more of a job for someone whose keen to manage in the premier league.
  5. Pearson will only be considered if we're struggling for options, I don't expect he's one of the main targets due to his weak stint at Bristol City most recently, plus I think he misses Shakey by his side. Most of Pearson's success at Foxes came when he had the partnership of Shakespeare. When at Derby, in Belgium and Bristol City. You can see when Shakey wasn't there.
  6. JPT Trophy even when Cov were bottom League Two play offs League One champions Fa Cup Semi finalists
  7. Robins appointment I think would be popular, as the Leicester connection being their and what he's done at Cov hasn't become unnoticed, he's probably well overdue a premier league chance. The only issue we may face is, he's built a good relationship with Cov fans now and risks crushing that leaving for Leicester. Seeing as he left Cov before to join Huddersfield some years ago, I'm not sure he'd want to pee them off again by joining their nearest rivals. But Leicester can only ask and offer.
  8. If Carlos Coberan was that good, how come West Brom stayed down? I know I've mentioned Robins but least Robins, has achieved quite a lot at Cov in his second spell whilst Coberan. I'm not convinced.
  9. Jim Davidson working on the main five channels watched his documentary the other day and shows of the 90's big break and generation game were both great shows he was on. Of course Woke has taken over the BBC, so comedian's and presenters like Jim Davidson are trying to be phased out by the press. Some we must put of with the likes of Sue Perkins, Alex Scott, James Corden, Claudia Winkleman, Rylan Clark, Alan Carr, Michael Mcintyre irritating us to death.
  10. Ten Haag, though has two trophies to brag about the league cup and fa cup. Whilst Moyes could only lift the charity shield.
  11. On that list Yes: Potter Poch Robins Cooper Benitez
  12. If Potter wasn't heavily linked with the England job, I'd be 100% convinced he'd the land job. My biggest fear it ends up being Moyes, he'd honestly suck the life out the club. Hasn't really done a decent job since Everton, he took a Manchester United squad that never finished outside the top 3 for nearly 20 years to 7th. Took Sunderland down, West Ham you may remind won the europa conference league season before but that same season league wise they only won one more game than the team that finished bottom. Moyes may want to take a break anyway having managed West Ham for four years, so the Leicester job maybe a bad time for him anyway. As mentioned Rafa I think could be favourite seeing as he was target for TOP previously.
  13. We beat them double success
  14. This is how I think the merry go-round will end. Man United: Gareth Southgate Chelsea: Roberto De Zerbi Brighton Hove & Albion:... Rob Edwards Any I missed?
  15. I think the Fa Cup run played it's toll in the end, if it wasn't for that then I think they may have made the play offs. But lets face even with a leicester hat, if it wasn't for VAR, Robins would have led Coventry to the Fa Cup final. Which would have been a huge achievement in itself.
  16. If Coalville Town couldn't afford play at Owen Street, then look for alternative options... Shepshed Dynamo's ground not to far, least that could be a short term home whilst the club find a long term solution. It's just like the chairman, hasn't thought about the clubs future, it's like his club and no one else's.
  17. The whole thing can be drawn long over the summer and it ends up that all names being mentioned don't get the job. Instead it will be left field appointment and be given to club legend. Someone like a Gianfranco Zola, yep did terrible at Birmingham City, but this Chelsea board have already made some weird decisions.
  18. Hed probably be sacked even if they win the cup.
  19. Once the paper work is in thats it. League are soon looking to resolve League numbers. Hitchin will likely get reprieve
  20. Marco Rossi, seems to have done an amazing job with Hungary.
  21. Councils have no interest or support towards the local team. Some come from other towns and have no knowledge and whilst some have no interest in football whatsover. I remember attending a council made donkey's years ago when Boro wanted to build a stadium. Six of the members on the board, three admitted they were from Coventry, one admitted she didn't really follow football and the other didn't know a club existed. Stood no chance.
  22. Missed the deadline, leagues have already been finalised. Unless its voluntary relegation and according to the statement says nothing about that.
  23. Enzo goes to Chelsea, I think he could be gone by Christmas. The brand of football, will not excite fans and they will turn. I can't imagine that appointment would excitement them either. Unbelievable to think that Chelsea's shortlist involve two managers that worked in the championship last season... though this happened before and what happened.... Oh dear
  24. I don't think many supporters would shed a tear if Enzo left to be fair, done fantastic job but our form in the last 12 games has been questionable. To go from cruising at the top, being miles ahead of everyone else, to then have to take almost down to the wire don't look great. Plus comments he's made here and there ain't helped him.
  25. Big Sam is done I think, two relegations back to back. Steve Cooper is another one who could looking on his options, with his experience of already working within England under 21's setup and knowing some the current England players. He is probably on the shortlist. If it's choose between managing England or Leicester, even if your Welsh you'd take the England job.
