Stringer Court unfair dismissal case vs BBC ends
Leicesterpool replied to Kilworthfox's topic in General Chat
Sorry Stringy, hope we still hear him on air in another radio station. Maybe even LCFC podcast. -
Not that i'm gloating in way, just weird situation where Nuneaton Borough went bust half way through a season, yet will have a team next season playing at a lower level under name of Nuneaton Town. Of course Boro have a had time to reform a new club and find temp new home for the next two seasons, whilst for poor Coalville fans they finish the season, not actually go bust withdrew from the league not even considering voluntary relegation are not going to have a team next season. Sometimes feel clubs are not protected by the governing body, surely to avoid seeing another club wind up. Maybe non league structure could suggest a two division demotion and then reprieving sides that were set for relegation to allow that space for Coalville Town. At least then fans of coalville have someone to watch next season.
-
For me a bit of selfish act by the chairman here put a lot of money over the years of course. But why not just step down and allow someone to come in a just work on a tighter budget as you say. Now the supporters have come to terms having no team next season. Timing wise awful.
-
Sad for supporters, just proves how the club relied on one man just a shame. He didn't put the club on the market months ago to avoid this.

Whats going on at Coalville everything seem to be going in the right direction for them. Its a shame seeing more clubs quit their league.

What's interesting McKenna is not the first manager to achieve back to back promotion to the premier league. Lambert at Norwich, Adkins at Southampton you can't say either of them went on to be amazing. -
Gary Neville said going into Euro 16, England were picking players based on their quality rather than their form.... Expert Neville... yeah so quality didn't half pay off when we got knocked out by Iceland in the round of sixteen.

If Kompany does go Bayern. Roseiner to Burnley likely i think. -
Imagine McKenna as contender for the England job. Unlikely but not impossible.
-
Rafa Bentiez may end up getting seeing as TOP wanted him before, he's available now so I guess he could be a phone call away. Not the worse appointment, but brand of football ain't pretty.

Gave scotland 3 pundits for BBC... nice weeks work i guess Pressure on Germany this tournament being the hosts etc, but their supporters will be desperate for a decent start, they lose it'll be very negative quite early on from the German press and supporters especially after the three last tournaments. It's weird to go into a tournament where Germany are the ones under pressure.
-
Possible Leverkusen ran out of steam for this, been a long season for them and perhaps this was one game too many. But still been an incredible season for the German side.

Lathaniel Rowe-Turner will end up at Barwell for sure. -
I can see Will Still ending up at Brighton.

Labour win easily, may see the smallest number in parliament for a long time in term of Tories.
-
You look back though, it's very rare to look back at a prime minster or government and say there doing a good job. There always doing something crap somewhere. The scary thought for the new prime minster maybe trying to avoid another world war. Another thing to look out for by the end of the year we may have new prime minster of the country and maybe a returning president in Donald Trump.
-
Don't think it'll even be tight, will be a landslide. Don't even think the Torie supporters can bare another six years of this government. No doubt the tory press will stir up more crap on Angela Rayner in the coming weeks, don't think the british public care about that there's much worst things the tory mp's have probably done.
-
Night mares of Frank Lampard turning up to the KP. John Terry on the other hand, would he be any good? Of course was down here for a short spell part Deano's coaching team.
-
Two of the worst prime minster's had to come back to back. Least Sir Keir can say, I surely can't do any worse.

Sunak gone by July 5th!

Chelsea have made themselves look right mugs, whilst Liverpool and Man Utd will be going through a new transition period this was Chelsea opportunity to capitalise on their good form towards the end of the season build on the momentum and make a push for the top four. Instead they will put themselves for yet another transition with a manager who may not like the players and look to move some on. -
Potter has had a few job offers since leaving Chelsea but has declined a few, some from what I gather have been decent opportunities. I am wondering if he's saving himself for the England job.

Sarina Wiegman

If you think football was bad under Enzo... then don't expect further entertainment from Moyes. Mark Robins for me or Steve Cooper

Talks Tuchel going back... hasn't exactly lite up the world since leaving Chelsea. Surprised no further suggestions of a return for Jose.
