  3. I thought there was another fantasy type world cup thread where you predict the results. i picked the first few games and now cant find it to do the rest.
  4. L've been looking for the other fantasy team thread
  5. could have been a double sarcasm post
  6. Not had my last one yet
  7. *ass not asss
  8. Point taken. However interferance would not help them, reporting restrictions or not. Because of the high profile of the trial and public outrage at the nature of the crimes there would be a lot of speculation and inaccurate reporting that could influence the jury. I see it as common sense to have restrictions for cases such as this. Maybe the law is not such an asss after all.
  9. I have done a little reporting. Interviewed Peter Solsby. We had to ask him beforehand if it was ok to film and record. We did some training as in the dos and do nots. But it was only a small part of it. The mainstream jounos would have much more training and require higher qualifications. Solsby was not so keen with being interviewed near the end. We asked the wrong questions so he avoided us.
  10. J wonder how the victims feel about being filmed without permission knowing that if a mistrial is called they will go through it again? Do they support Tommy R? They are not keen on the accused but I am sure they would rather they be given a fair trial than released because some idiot broke the law and broke the resticted reporting that was in place to protect the victims. On this occasion there is no conspiracy The law has the final say.
  11. post would not load hence double post
  12. So the content is not important just a couple of typos? It was poor light and did not check every letter for errors. Sorry for that crime.

  15. The accused are not beig given special treatment. The victims are to ensure the trial is fair and not discontinued and started again or dismissed on a technicality. I do not have a law degree so am prepared to rely on those that do to get it right. I don;t think any verdict will satisfy the predjudiced ones. If the case is dismissed because of interferance they will say the trial was fixed. If they are found guilty and given a variert of sentences based on the severity of the crime committed they will say they are too lenient. Some of the witnesses will know the accused. Maybe family members. Others will not want their identities revealed. I would guess reporting is restricted (not entirely banned) would be the possibility of false reporting and speculation and identities. To report permission would have to be granted and special passes handed out. Obviously TR did not have the required credentials. Also filming within the vicinity of the court was prohibited by ANY member of the public. I have typed an essay which will be wasted on deaf ears.
  16. Thought it had been explained. Much better than me I'm afraid.
  17. Surely everyone wants justice for the victims, and if that means sending Tommy Robinson on a one spaceship flight to the outer Galaxy so be it. Nothing is more important than ensuring the defendants receive the punishment they deserve even if it means a fair trial. People go on about free speech being restricted yet the same ones want to end Human Rights. You may call me a fool but aren't the two connected?
  18. When the judge was handing out the suspended sentence he asked Tommy R if he understood the terms. The reply was yes. If he was to go in the vicinity of the court where the trial was being held he would go straight to prison to serve his sentence. This happens to all sorts of people for all sort of offences. They do not require a trial or jury as their fate has already been decided. For a lot of people it is a wake up call and they try and tread the straight and narrow. I saw a meme of a picture of him and a picture of a Muslim (hate preacher) under one it had preaches hate set free under the other jailed for using his phone. Guess which was Tommy. He was not only using his phone in the court vicinity which is not permitted, he was streaming live to FB which he was told not to under the terms of his suspended sentence. But the group who posted it failed to mention it and now the meme is being shared and all the bigots are picking up on it convinced he is innocent and a freedom figjhter despite pleading guilty not that they needed any convincing. How can you be guilty and innocent at the same time even if you admit that you are guilty. Defendent 'Yess m'lord I did it, I am guilty, I hold my hands up I accept whatever prison sentence given and will go to prison quietly' Judge 'I find you not guilty, you are free to go.
  19. I don't think some people realise how complex the case is. The witnesses were likely from the community the defendents lived in. Some may have their identities hidden. If they are revealed and their identities revealed there will not be enough evidence to secure a conviction. But Tommy's suppoerters have already decided the verdict so everyone else should go along with them.
  20. You may have already seen this but just to clear up why his sentencing was swift. The judge said : “I respect everyone’s right to free speech. That’s one of the most important rights that we have. “With those rights come responsibilities. The responsibility to exercise that freedom of speech within the law. “I am not sure you appreciate the potential consequence of what you have done. “If the jurors in my present trial get to know of this video I will no doubt be faced with an application to discharge the jury. “If I have to do that it will mean a re-trial, costing hundreds and hundreds and thousands of pounds.” A re-trial would also mean witnesses in the case would have to face the ordeal of giving evidence again before a jury. 'People have to understand breaching court orders have real consequences' The judge added: “You have to understand we are not preventing publication. We are postponing publication to ensure that the trial is fair. “When people are convicted and given long sentences, it is on a proper basis and not a conviction that can be overturned. “It is a serious feature that you were encouraging others to share what you were streaming live on social media.” Jailing the married father-of-three, the judge said: “People have to understand that if they breach court orders there will be very real consequences.” " If something of the nature of that which you put out on social media had been put into the mainstream press I would have been faced with applications from the advocates concerned, I have no doubt, to either say something specific to the jury, or worse, to abandon the trial and to start again. That is the kind of thing that actions such as these can and do have, and that is why you have been dealt with in the way in which you have and why I am dealing with this case with the seriousness which I am. "
  21. There was no need for a trial involving a jury. He was up before a magistrate who implement the conditions of his suspended sentence which were if he was to appear antwhere near the ongoung cases he would end up inside.
  22. The case was connected to other ongoing trials. the restrictioms were there so the jurt could not be influenced. Was his objective for the culprits to wakk free so he could shput set up? I think he is jusy yhick. There was a case in 2015 in Bristol and where was he then calling for justice? Also a member of EDL was done for assault and TR was calling for his release. I saw a video of a 15 yr old TR supporter who was saying how he was right about hoards of Muslim rape gangs and they are taking over the country and I thought WTF. A 15 year old expert on law and knowledge of the coming and goings of all Muslims. At 15 she should be cooing over the latest bare chested singer of a pop group. Alo wondered what she does and where does she go to say she fears for her life. The reponses were amazingly ignorant. From 'A wise girl' to 'She tells the truth' Even Americans were joining in with things like 'Mat God place his sheild over your country to protect you from the invasion.' I was called a paedo lover after pointing out that TR had broke the law. There are now TR supporters with 'We are Tommy Robinson' banners. Even Tommy Robinson isnt Tommy Robinson. He wants others to obey laws of the land yet does not do so homself with a string of convictions including fraud and ABH. His supporters do not see this though as they are blinded by bigotry and hate,
