  1. We seemed to get far less players in the box tonight, hence why that ball was often the option chosen from both wingers. Leeds did defend incredibly well though and we just couldn't match their energy for some reason
  2. Thought that too. Maybe Kasey is still at 80-90% though. Fatawu was still dangerous right to the end, but there was a definite drop off 2nd half. Need some players back fit and possibly another attacking mid in January to step ahead of Casadei as he is struggling when starting games
  3. Tbh on paper I think Leeds are almost a match for us, especially if we take off our blue tinted spectacles when we look at our beloved players. They have some real quality in there and that showed tonight. Thankfully, we have started the season on fire and so we have a nice gap to them even after tonight. No doubt they will be pushing the top 2, but they will drop points as well, and probably more than us over the course of the season, as has been happening so far. N'didi was a big miss tonight, and we just weren't at it, whereas Leeds played the near perfect game. We were still inches away from nicking a 1-1 at the death though.
  4. Tiredness? Played a lot of minutes recently and he was electric first half. We really need some options from the bench to help share the load our wingers are currently doing
  5. Apology accepted, for the rest of your post
  6. He is a bit feisty when needed! Top player and has a bit of everything
  7. Early in the second half, I remember him trying to take on Byram but was easily dispossessed, and I wonder whether that knocked his confidence and he started playing it safer. Wrong decision of course, but what a player he is. He won't come up against much better defensive performances than tonight in the Championship, so I expect him to score and assist a load.
  8. Absolutely. I think everyone could see Casadei struggling with the pace and physicality of the game tonight. I also think there are a few players that have looked a little jaded recently. We really need those players you listed back!
  9. Same with all teams in the league though. Take Leeds for example, I bet this was their best performance of the season, yet they nearly drew at the end with KDH header cleared off the line. They also lost to Stoke last week, and have drawn 4 and lost 3 already this season. We will have games like tonight where we are outplayed. Games where we scrape a lucky win, but also games where we dominate and look invincible. Key is, not to overreact either way, which I suspect Enzo will be saying shortly.
  10. At one point Nacho came all the way back and collected the ball off our CB! Not sure if he was instructed to keep dropping deep into midfield or that is just his tendency, which we have seen from him over the years. Either way, it left us 1-0 down and no striker up top for short periods of the game, which was pretty ridiculous.
  11. To be fair to him and our wingers, Leeds defended incredibly well. They were organised and had high energy throughout. Nacho also struggled when came on. All our attacking players could have done more of course, but big credit to Leeds on how they defended.
  12. I don't think he is lazy. I think he is just slow and can't keep up with the pace sometimes. He definitely stands out as a weak link at times and tonight, we really needed Ndidi instead of him. I'd like to see him only used from the bench from now on, as he has been given numerous opportunities now and not been able to step up fully. Useful player from the bench and could become a very good player as he develops over the years, but we can't risk him starting each week right now.
  13. My point is, for how good Leeds were tonight, they still lost to Stoke last week and have lost 3 and drawn 4 already. They will have bad days just like we will and so far, they have had many more than us. Every team needs luck too and will scrape wins, Leeds included. If they were far better, why did they only win 1-0 with a rebounded tap in? Why was a 1-1 inches away at the end with a fantastic save by their keeper? I thought Leeds were impressive, but lets not make them out to be world beaters. They didn't steamroll us tonight, they won 1-0. We missed N'didi enormously tonight, and Akgun would have been very handy from the bench too. We dust off and move on.
  14. The same Leeds that lost to Stoke last week? You realise that no team is invincible and has off days or get outplayed? Leeds have drawn 4 and lost 3. Far better team? Table disagrees with you.
  15. apart from KDH's header being saved off the line. Don't let facts get in the way of a good moan though We weren't shite. Sheffield Wednesday are shite. We were just outplayed and done by a lucky rebound goal.
  16. I have missed the overreaction doom and gloom posters!
  17. almost as shocking as the blank space you have left after your one line post
  18. 5 year contract in the Summer please! when you know, you know
  19. I think this settles the CB debate for me. Faes is our strongest and we miss him when he doesn't play. He isn't technically that much better than our other options, but he just exudes confidence and has the most presence.
  20. I believe it is pronounced Cassashite (in Italian accent)
  21. Even if he has a stela season there, I still don’t want him back next season. Sometimes players just don’t connect with a club and that’s what I think happened with Soumare. I don’t see that lack of chemistry changing if he comes back, even under Enzo, who demands so much more from players. Bonus if we can get more money for him though.
  22. He is an absolute fraud as a Manager. Can see Birmingham dropping down to a relegation battle before long.
  23. Whereas, I think we have the ability and squad depth to continue at this crazy rate albeit with some hiccups along the way - I just cannot see Ipswich not having a real dip in form at some point once they pick up a key injury or two. Huge credit to their Manager so far though, but I don't think they will be able to keep up with us for much longer.
  24. We are on course for a record breaking season and one for the history books. I wouldn't want to give that away at the moment. Ask me again after Christmas though!
  25. I thought there were a handful of players who looked a little jaded last night. Some changes needed, just to keep things fresh and the work rate high. Enzo has never ben afraid to rotate. I'd start Hamza for his energy levels, as well as Coady and would love to see Akgun start if fit again.
