This there were cross conversations. There was some chat about Evans too in the thread.

How would that be effected if spurs or Utd won the europa?
-
Little experienced, could we be falling in the same trap?

Wake up.

King has little to no say i'd have thought, that was a publicity stunt. He'll stay at the club and be back with the Academy I'd have thought. -

I think they'll do a deal to get rid before then, but not pay the money until then or spilit between this and next year. -

If true, which sounds about right, put him on gardening leave and let King or someone else within the club already run the team until the end of the season. I think money must be the only reasons he's still here. I don't have too much of an issue with him wanting his pay off or some kind of payoff, the club gave him the contract. Just hope they can do a deal that doesn't do us too much more damage than has already happened. -
How much did Chelsea ruin us this season?

Right about premier league ready, but you could maybe have signed a couple with some pace, energy and potential. -

It'll be the payment terms, maybe offset so it doesn't completely ruin PSR. -

This is a question rather than me wanting him. Could Dyche be that? He always comes across well I think. Set up Burnley to be a club that is top of Champ or surviving/nearly surviving in the prem. At Evorton he wasn't great, but if we'd have had him 2022/23 we'd have stayed up at the expense of them I think. Issue there is I think fans might not like the forest connections again and the football will be dull. I'm not an advocate of Dyche, just asking the question. -

Also to prove how bad both managers we’ve had this year have been. I didn’t think it could get worse but by god did it and then some. -

Yep, we talk about silly decisions the club make. They would be daft to pay £5 million now when they could pay £1 million in a week or so. (figures made up). Though might be they could negotiate with him seeing as its done already anyway pretty much.. -
I don't agree that people should be ashamed for going to the game. I said Yesterday it was only 4 years ago we weren't allowed to go to games. Blind hope and optimism, but also Mongas potential debut might have made people go. I didn't go, I agree that there needs to be change and voting with your feet might be the only way to do it too. Also some of the going to the football is more than the football, I go with my brother and parents as well as my lad and sometimes my daughter. I see my friends, I live away from the city, so its more than football.

Sorry what I meant, they probably had mics near where the chants were coming from. You did hear some of the frustrations with back passes though.

That or someone who is doing really well at a slightly lower level. Not someone that has failed already.

Football insider claiming he’ll be sacked. Expect he’ll still be here then. -
You could hear the chants on tv tonight

I know it’s a 15 year old making his debut and fair play. But we have bloody missed ricardo, for me the biggest reason I struggled with cooper was that ricaardo didn’t get a look in.
-
I assume we are in the same boat, something in the contract that makes it cheaper as they are officially down.
-
Interesting he’s done a good job every where pretty much. It seems like the appointment of experienced coaches from lower leagues has stopped. Used to happen more than now.
-
I'm not going tonight, but the back of my mind thinks back to 2020 and 2021 when we couldn't go and it makes me wonder if its the right decision. I live about an hours drive + walking to the ground parking etc.. I might be there if it was closer I guess. Not sure how much difference it will make.

Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread

I knew Burnley had a god defensive record but 12 goals in 40 is amazing. -
Oh I agree anyone can say things and often empty. I was having a discussion test how a lot of managers are like politicians at the minute. I’d argue Man City don’t even play like people perceive Man City to play either. They play quite a few diagonals into wingers it’s not all pass teams to death.
