Cardiff as manager isn’t he?
-
Maybe as they got burnt with Potter/Cooper last year? Or hopefully because its not done.
-
Was thinking I’d rather RVN stay than have Martin, then I saw the team yesterday.
-
To be honest, I don’t want Martin, I didn’t want Cooper and didn’t really know about Ruud at the time, but that has been poor. Like when they appointed cooper I said I’ll get behind them if they prove me wrong, Martin has hopefully learnt from Southampton and maybe evolves slightly, but won’t hold my breath. Problem is, he has to hit the ground running and any bad run fans will be on his back instantly. That said, I’m not sure there is an appointment that will unite the fans.(in a positive way)

Sure Evans is 17 in a few days? So be surprised if it’s not a professional contract. not until August by the looks of it.

As much as he’s not been good enough, let’s at least give him the decency of a decision on his future. -
Trouble is no guarantee that if this doesn’t happen it will be a better appointment
-
I don’t want him, however if it is that’s get on with. At least we are sorting early if it’s him next week.
-
One thing I can think is that the moves are already sorted. Potentially people in the club World Cup. Wilf Saudi, not sure about bilal.

I think the issue with both Ruud and cooper is those olive green tracksuits. Better tracksuits better results. -
Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

Indeed, until his injury he wasn’t far off the best keeper in the league form wise. -
Someone will get sent off now I say this, but have we ever had a season where where we don’t have at least 1 red card?

I've listened to the Lissie cover of "go your own way" since the weekend. Didn't realise it was her that was in Loudermilk.

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

This is kind of how I'm feeling at the minute. Tried to write as a bit of an open letter. Not sure the club would read it at all anyway. No one said being a football fan is easy, and with Leicester City, we have certainly experienced some major highs but also some very low points. At the moment, it seems that supporting Leicester City is a bit of a thankless task. Yes, we got promoted last season, but that should never have been allowed to happen, as we shouldn’t have been in the Championship in the first place. The club, the managers, and the players let us down and put us in the position we are in today. Now, after what will probably be our worst ever Premier League season, we have been hit with three charges from the Premier League regarding PSR and other related issues, and things seem to be going from bad to worse. The mismanagement of this football club is beyond belief at the moment, with the only shining light being the academy. I think it is about time that the owners and directors of the business start opening some better lines of communication with the fans. The recent club statement, which ended with “We will not be able to comment further,” just sums up where we are at the minute. That said, I do question the timing of this from the Premier League. Again, I know they will think they are punishing the club and the people who run it, but really, the people they are punishing are the fans and those who work for the club (not the overpaid players, I might add). The uncertainty of another summer, where Leicester fans don’t know where they stand and are unable to plan properly, causes issues. So I beg of the football club and the powers that be: let’s have some clarity and draw a line under all of this so we can look forward to supporting our football team. I’m not saying the club shouldn’t be punished, but let’s get it sorted so we can concentrate on the football. -

Iain on when you’re smiling made a point of comparing the club the blackberry and blockbusters, in terms of calling out those fan that say “they gave us the best times”. Keep doing the same thing and not evolving means you will struggle in the end, new voices and people are needed. -
As much as I think he has his limits. I think he’s a good squad player. He speaks so well seems very grounded. Not of the same level, but reminds me of kingy in terms of attitude and way he speaks.

Went to watch Valencia a couple of years ago. Great old fashioned Spanish ground, wonderful city. Would a good move for him, depends if it financial or lifestyle. Could still make a Saudi or MLS move the year after. He’d score goals there, Perez is up there with top scorers in the league. In fact Perez is playing 30mins away from Valencia.

I have had this feeling since it was obvious that it wasn't going to work out with Ruud that Russell Martin was an inevitable appointment at Leicester, I don't think i'm imagining the fact he was linked back in late December 2022 early 2023 whilst Brendan was still here.

What bit of wonderful news will come out about the club today? Vardy going Leeds, Forest or somewhere equally annoying Danny Ward contract extension Steve Cooper coming back to team up with RVN as the dynamic duo Another Charge of some description Vestergaard has now brought his cat as well as his dog to the training ground? Winks won't stay at the training ground but is willing to stay at a near by Premier Inn as a compromise?

That montage with the fleetwood mac cover that they played in the stadium and they have recently put in socials
-
Safe to say most are laughing but the odd one that thinks it could be a good move.
-
I guess all we can hope is that he has actually learnt and realised that you do have to tweak your style slightly depending on who you are playing. Though I won’t hold my breath
-
I think that recruitment under purl was down the Mercia wasn’t it?
-
Blind hope I suspect. He's just been one of those names that won't got away.
-
I think this appointment has been on the cards for 3 years. @ClaphamFox I hope you are still right when you say the club won't be that stupid.
