To be honest it's probably a good thing that Leeds have exposed our flaws really. We need teams to take it to us like this more often and really expose us or we will never improve and could end up like Burnley next season. I really don't want us promoted at a canter, points wise sure, but we need teams like Leeds to improve our game.

Poor.
-
Do Leeds fans still sing "We are the champions, champions of europe" for 40 minutes at a time?
-
Send them crying into their Hovis my son
-
I'm numb to the boredom of first half Leicester at this point, surprised so many people are shocked by it, this has been 90% of our first halves this season, we just haven't played many teams able to take advantage of us being asleep.
-
Could really do with a Lillian Casadei goal tonight
-
Have to say I did not realise that Daniel Farke' record at this level is so strong, 150 odd games managed with a 51% win record, that's some track record that.
-
Fantastic from Faes there.
-
Yeah can't take away how good Leeds have been so far to be fair, good call.
-
Need to settle down, early days but so far it's another really poor start from us.

Here we go, HUGE game, feeling confident today!

I think we are miles ahead of the bottom 3 because the bottom 3 are just THAT POOR, but I don't for a second buy into the general FT hype about how good we are atm, we are far better than this league, but the difference between championship and premier league is huge, and we are too wasteful in attack and gift too many opportunities to the opposition, we just have the quality to see it through and are not often punished for very poor mistakes, in the premier league we will be punished for the mistakes we are making. We will need multiple signings, next season will be harder than this season is in the premier league. Plenty of time to improve, but I think at the moment our "weaknesses" (relative to the premier league) will only be solved by signings rather than "clicking" In the current premier league I think we would stay up with a comfortable enough points margin. -
Sorry, I was referring to the notion that he drowned because of a heart attack
-
I hope they do for their complete **** on an owner, but looking at the fans response, I really don't think they deserve relegation given just how loyal they've become towards building a real project, I've been watching the OTIB forum since Pearson signed, and even when they struggled to really gel in his first year, the fans seemed to take on board a lot of our feedback and the consensus was he would come good eventually, since then the owner has sold everyone and invested basically nothing, and NP has been working with his hands tied behind his back. Really torn on this, Lansdown is a perfect example of a horrendous owner, but the fans are victims in this too, the fans and Pearson/his team seem to be the only solid foundation at that club.

This is vitally important, as impressive as the results are and as impressive as the final 15 minute goals stats are, we do tend to come out in the first half quite sloppy and sluggish and the opposition often get a couple of decent chances in. It’s not the premier league, but I think we can all see that realistically that is the level of our squad right now, so we have to look with a long term vision and the next window is crucial. Because again, results and performances have been dominating and you can only beat whoever is infront of you, but if we were performing like this in the premier league we would have shipped many more goals from the quality of chances we’ve given away, and top level teams will punish us for that heavily. Would we stay up? Likely because the bottom 3 in the current premier league are awful, but I don’t think we would be as high as some assume. I guess that’s the exciting part though right, the fact there is such a big space for improvement can only be a good thing when you have a young hungry manager who has a clear strategy and blueprint.
-
Ahhh i'd not seen that. So seems a bit odd for the media to push that idea out if he was "found" drowned.
-
I know I know, i'm only speculating on the media speculation though
-
Obviously, it's not a good idea to speculate too much but I'm trying to understand the circumstances, the media reported that a heart attack was the reason the ambulance was allegedly called, so either he called them himself, at which point you'd think if he was able to call he would potentially be able to get out of the jacuzzi, or he was with someone who called, and they could have dragged him out? If it was a case that he was alone and the heart attack was so severe or sudden that he couldn't get himself out of the jacuzzi then how would he call the ambulance? I guess there could be a grey area in my logic where he had a heart attack so severe that he managed to call but wasn't able to get out.

He’s easily the best player in the squad, I’ve been saying since day 1 I absolutely love him but he’s far too cautious at times, don’t get me wrong he’s amazing as his job and rarely makes a single mistake, but as a top half prem quality player we really should be getting him to shoot more often, far too often he gets into space then makes a short pass sideways or lays it off to someone. I always preferred him as an attack minded player in his younger appearances for spurs and I hope with the extra freedoms you’re granted in this division we can really start to exploit that and give him confidence to take these sorts of shots week in week out. Top drawer.

Do you have any good IPTV links?
-
I'd rather people talk about stream links than talk about that first half to be honest
-
It's an annoying one really because I like all 3 of them but they can't play together without having to drop a midfielder or attacker. And all 3 of them deserve to be on the pitch. Edit: and even with that said, I'm not sure they CAN play together given how different they are, Faes and Vesty seem to balance each others weaknesses out, Coady is the all round better defender I'd assume given he's proven in the top flight, but doesn't seem to be able to gel properly with Vesty or Faes.
-
Tbh i can see why it looks like people have turned, but in reality, this is how every match thread goes, we play pretty poorly then they tire out and we win comfortably. I'm very bored of watching us in the first half this season, but the second halves are entertaining
-
The silver lining is that even when we concede i'm not really "worried", just frustrated. Really not enjoying the game at all, which has happened many times this season in the first half, but I'm really not worried about their equalizer in terms of the final result, I feel like we will inevitably score again. Our first halves have been notoriously poor this season, 2nd half we will bury them. But these first halves are still nowhere near good enough for a team that wants to be in the top flight.
