He's a young manager, I would prefer someone more experienced but he does play football the right way albeit at a league lower than us.

No it was just the fact it was a shite appointment, he was on Burnley's managerial short list before they appointed Scott Parker, he's nowhere near premier league managerial standard.

Mourinho is in post at Fenerbache cannot see us paying his release clause, if it is a big name that Top is after can see it being Sarri or Mancini (both have managed in the premier league before).

I think he's better than the likes of Thomas Frank and Nuno etc. But that's my personal opinion, he's comfortably better than the bottom 6 incumbent managers, the likes of Garry O'Neil, Kieran McKenna etc.

Potter would be an upgrade and he's in the top 10-12 manager bracket at this level.

Those links to HSV Hamburg for Ruud, I think he would take the job even though they are in the Bundesliga 2, they still average 50K crowds there.

Just to have a manager with a clear playing philosophy will be very welcome, Potter is a fairly reputable name and the players you would imagine would enjoy playing under him.

Potter's favoured formation is 3-5-2 , we have the personnel for this, so think we would be okay.

Eddie Howe is Newcastle's golden boy he won't be sacked, I think Newcastle's expectations this season is Top 6 which is achievable.

Potter would want to manage a top 6 premier league club again. If he does a good job with us i.e. midtable and winning a cup, he would get his wish.
