  1. Sky Sports News understands Van Nistelrooy wanted to affect some change, with results so negative on the pitch, and feels that having some different ideas and voices at training and around matchday might help that, and the club’s bosses have agreed with the manager. Ex-Leicester player Andy King was promoted to the first-team coaching staff last week, stepping up from the academy. He is now expected to play a more prominent role in preparing the team. There has been no falling out between members of Leicester’s first-team coaching staff. Brian Barry-Murphy and Jelle ten Rouwelaar remain in prominent coaching roles with the first team, with Andrew Hughes still a specialist coach in charge of set-pieces.
  2. 4-2-3-1 Mads Justin Coady Okoli / Vestegaard Kristiansen Ndidi Winks Facundo Bilal Mavididi Daka That would be the team I would go for..
  3. But sort of defeats the purpose, I have no problem with RVN calling out the board because they have dealt him a very bad hand, but RVN has to do it for himself he has to be self motivated to perform, if he does that he will have the fans backing, and only that.
  4. Probably because of his constant selection of an aging front 3, and CB partnership of Faes and Okoli (I don't blame him as much).
  5. Lose this game he has to go, even if we win it's still in an insurmountable task to stay up.
  6. Mavididi on the Right wing, Facundo on the left, is surely better than Ayew and Bobby Reid.
  7. RVN wasn't first choice was he? It was definitely Potter and then probably Moyes as a backup.
  8. Does he genuinely think this? As you say a club mouthpiece indeed. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cn7g6z7ge11o It has never been the club's style for those at director level to speak publicly, they remained quiet even when Leicester lifted the Premier League. None basked in the glory then so it would be wrong to say they are hiding in the shadows now.
  9. If the decision is to help Ruud by getting rid of these coaches surely we see an upturn in form
  10. Leicester unlikely to replace sacked coachespublished at 14:50 Greenwich Mean Time 14:50 GMT Nick Mashiter BBC Sport football news reporter Leicester are unlikely to replace coaches Ben Dawson and Danny Alcock after the pair left the Foxes. First-team coach Dawson and goalkeeping coach Alcock's departures were announced by the club on Monday. The decision was taken to help Ruud Van Nistelrooy as he battles to save the Foxes from relegation. First-team coach Jelle ten Rouwelaar, who followed Van Nistelrooy to the King Power Stadium after his appointment November, is a goalkeeping coach so there is no expectation Alcock's role will be filled. Coach Brian Barry-Murphy (pictured) has made a positive impact since moving to the club in December with the squad impressed with the clarity and quality he brings to the training sessions. Barry-Murphy was Manchester City's elite development squad head coach until last summer. Set piece coach Andy Hughes remains at the club, having joined from Norwich in the summer, while Premier League winner Andy King returned to the Foxes as their Under-18 assistant coach last week.
  11. Ruud made an interesting comment re footballing intelligence when King joined the coaching setup, maybe he feels these coaches don't offer that so they have been shown the door, but either way the club needs to either back Ruud or sack him, dithering about again get's us nowhere other than an inevitable relegation.
  12. January transfer window was very supportive!
  13. Doubt it mate, otherwise the Dutch GK coach would have also departed?
  14. We have missed the boat with Rene Meulensteen will be part of Robin Van Persie's coaching team at Feyenoord. That leaves the likes of Fred Rutten available..
  15. King Power are inept that is crystal clear to see when Ruud joined should have sacked these incompetent fools and allowed Ruud to bring in his own staff, Ruud has hardly covered himself in glory so backing him now seems strange but it's the Leicester way!
  16. Seems unlikely otherwise you would expect the Dutch GK coach to also depart.
  17. We have missed the boat, unless Jaap Staam is incoming?
  18. RVN's mentality is shot, and It seems from the outside he wants the sack, similar statements made by Rodgers as well..
  19. His compensation will drop in the summer allegedly that was what I was seeing on Owlstalk.
  20. John Mousinho is highly rated? wouldn't be averse to him coming here.
  21. https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/topic/61257-ivan-juric/page/28/#comments Are we Southampton fans in disguise., the parallel's are crazy.
  22. Southampton will probably get him.
  23. He won't leave at this stage of the season and we aren't going to offer compensation required..
  24. King and Barry Murphy to take charge away to West Ham and hope the next interim manager is available for the game against Chelsea away.
