  1. A big part of such a great era. They brought together a team of players who had grit, talent and plenty of heart and a determination to prove themselves as well as a great bunch of characters. Such an easy bunch to fall in love with.
  2. With “It was a clean shot” I take it
  3. It’s the kind of meaningless bullsh1t that gets ripped apart by Claude during the apprentice interviews
  4. Is this something the trust should be demanding an explanation and resolution from the club on?
  5. Fantastic first half. Need to come out in the second with the same commitment and desire now.
  6. Ha ha, yes. Me too.
  7. I’ve often thought that if forest had beat us that night we turned them over 4-1 Rodgers would have got sacked and things could have been different.
  8. Same as when we wouldn’t pay corberan’s. Cheapskates. This talk of hiring a technical director even if we have to pay compensation to get him out of a club is bullshit, we all know it will be someone recently sacked or out of work.
  9. It’s a shit show, i know someone who works down there, I mentioned it in the summer but they said the place is run like a Sunday league club and relegation is more likely than promotion. The proposed changes mean nothing with the incompetence of top and rudkin still overlooking everything. Get them gone.
  10. I swear there was one point today where Ayew dropped deep to receive the ball and no one ran beyond him meaning that our whole team was squeezed into a 20 yard channel across the pitch 10 yards either side of the half way line. Also we get destroyed on the transition time and again. We lose the ball and the opposition get the ball into their forwards attacking our back line so quick often playing through our midfield in one pass.
  11. She’ll come in and wonder why a small shop needs such a big premises. They’ll be space rented out down the KP to Screwfix, wicks and a local mechanic by the end of the month.
  12. What was the fans groups statement? I’ve only seen the club one.
  13. How about a boat on the river, anchor it well before, during and until everyone has gone home. Every time some looks out the main stand windows it’ll be there, directors arriving and leaving will see it.
  14. **** me, a Saturday, home 3pm. Never thought I’d see the day.
  15. People need to stop obsessing over those who still support the ownership and carry on making their voices heard. As seen on here and heard in the ground more and more are turning against the ownership, it’s a process and you have to let people go through it instead of name calling and creating a divide, an us and them mentality. Also comparing us to other clubs is pointless, none of them have had the success we have had over recent years so you have to expect it will take some people more time to turn on an ownership that has delivered success many could only dream of, it’s why some only turn on rudkin (part of the process) while others will defend the owners to the end.
  16. One positive is that when this place is as negative as it is now over a line up, we often go on to win. 🤞
  17. Ownership and rudkin need to go before another manager fails due to their incompetence.
  18. A definitive answer to the raging debate. Let us know what he puts
  19. I’m sure I’ve heard him say in an interview years later that he wished he never said it as he had done himself an injustice.
  20. Thanks, fingers crossed it’ll be on in a pub somewhere then.
  21. Is that skys version of the red button?
  22. ****ing what??? We’ve chose this kick off time? What about sat lunch? I’m away so this was my evening entertainment, just assumed it was on sky
  23. True, but still a great chant that should be resurrected. I sang it at the in-laws wedding, absolutely murdered it but still had a couple of drunk old deers dancing along
  24. Yes, love those were the days, can never understand why such a catchy tune as never really caught on nowadays.
  25. That welsh lad looked like he was seriously contemplating the pub
