  1. I love your optimism that Rudkin can get 3 loans and two permanents completed in 36 hours, as well as completing this deal and any other outgoings.
  2. How are Derby in or around the play offs. They've got to be one of the worst teams we've played this year and we're sh1t too.
  3. I'd like to think those going could be fully supportive of King and so if he selects Winks, there's not too much adverse reaction. But I guess others may have a different opinion.
  4. Unless it's Leicester
  5. It obviously is, as it's meant to be surnames of former players that are professions, not alternative professions of former players. (I think)
  6. Eddie Large it is, then
  7. I think it comes down to respect. I don't think Cooper, RVN or Marti commanded any respect, not because who they were, but more they had no clear plan on how they wanted us to play. I saw no evidence under all 3 tenures that there was a understanding of what we were supposed to be doing on the pitch. Professional footballers, who most have played at a high level, soon call out managers who can't communicate their ideas clearly or have no alternative plans to change things. This is why Enzo was successful, he had a plan that the players here at the time bought into and believed in and whilst things didn't always go smoothly, the players still played for the manager because they believed ultimately that it would work. So yes, someone needs to come in, not necessarily to kick ar$e, but to gain some level of respect so the players want to go out a play for the manager, club and fans. I know some will say they get paid a King's ransom and should go out and give 100%, but if you are demotivated, lacking morale and frustrated, most people in the work place will under achieve.
  8. It's going to be a long time before can can attract an elite manager, so what ever choice is made, a significant number on here will be disappointed. Do we take a chance with an upcoming manager from a lower league or go with experience. Personally, I'd like experience as an interim until the end of the season just to steady the ship, then look to reset in the summer.
  9. And probably score
  10. Can we appoint Neil Warnock, but the contract must include the use of a dressing room cam at half time and full time, which is then broadcast on the LCFC website. Would love to see some of these prima donna's take a right mouthful from Warnock when they've put little effort in. We might not stay up, but at least as fans we'd have some entertainment to look forward to, which is a far cry from what we see on the pitch now.
  11. Found it quite amusing when he says, 'Blame me for Leicester's woes' Top be under no illusion - we do. What I want to know is 'What strategic plan is there of how things are going to change', because for the life of me, keeping the same team around you is going to lead to more woes.
  12. Yes on a short term contract until the end of the season working along side Andy King and if he would come from Luton, Chris Powell. Then for him to move upstairs as DofF as he would get the club back in shape and functioning like a top club should be run. Alas, I think Rudkin will persuade Top otherwise.
  13. Knock the k off and we might just be able to afford that if we have a whip round.
  14. Unless it Nige, which is highly unlikely, be prepared to be underwhelmed.
  15. We need a pragmatic manager IMO. Someone who can put his ideas to the players that they buy into (like Enzo did - and I'm not suggesting Enzo's style was right, but he got the players playing for him because they believed it worked). I think Enzo was also very strong willed and took no sh1t from players or those above (a bit like Pearson). First and foremost, we need a manger that can galvanise the squad, get them playing for the badge and each other and change tactics to a faster more aggressive style of play and less of this 20 passes sideways and backwards. Therefore, on a short term contract until the end of the season I wouldn't be against someone like Big Sam.
  16. People do realise we've probably got another 2 to 3 weeks of this guessing game. Hope I'm wrong, but I can't see that there will have been any forward thinking or planning from Rudders and co.
  17. Big Sam's definitely been in Greggs - just buying a dozen sausage rolls though, I've heard
  18. Should have been done a while ago, not 7 days before the transfer window closes. I've no faith in Top or Rudkin appointing anyone who will change our fortunes, added to the fact we haven't the money or the appeal to attract a decent candidate. This will be just another rinse and repeat. Top is not savvy enough to run the business like his old man did and Rudkin is just a leach who would have been removed from post had he been at any other club.
  19. We're insignificant now.
  20. That's optimistic - any kind business is unlikely. Probably end up with a Ryan Bennett type signing at best.
  21. Hopefully the last supper
  22. The absolute perfect storm. Sh1t manager, Sh1t squad, Sh1t leadership, Sh1t owner, Sh1t DoF, and no money to improve things, all happening at the same time.
  23. Hope he does well, then the likelihood is he won't come back and we can permanently close this thread.
