  1. Not a fan of the check pattern but mainly because it peanut encircle the whole arm - just looks odd to me. oh…. That and it’s shit, but if you’re gonna be shit, go for a full turn out - no half measures
  2. I must say, I do quite a bit of work at Fulham (which is what made me mention them) and, anecdotally, they do seem to get a lot of tourists from abroad get match tickets… particularly from the USA
  3. Who are also currently extending their ground despite having to compete for ticket sales with the likes of Chelsea, Brentford and QPR on their doorstep let alone all of the other London clubs in that city
  4. Stuck with tripling up on Haarland and I’m still cursing myself
  5. Maybe that’s to represent the Hove part
  6. Question this week is do I triple captain Haarland vs Bournemouth or Jesus vs Leicester 😭
  7. Worked at Fulham yesterday for their pre-season friendly against Villareal and the lower concourse of their new riverside stand had a gin bar in it. What’s wrong with a pint of warm piss-water and a 90% sawdust burger in a mouldy bun? The game’s gone.
  8. https://apple.news/AC8xXKw8ASG2OOd_3XjBtWw plans for “The Line” in Saudi Arabia. looks like it could be some Snowpiercer style community if it ever got built
  9. I mean… you’re more than entitled to you’re opinion and, based on what you would rather do it’s appears to be something to care deeply about. But what’s wrong with just having a live and let live attitude? They’re not hurting anyone, are they? People can support their club and their country just the same - let’s not forget that the player you’ve given in your example did play for Leicester too! I’m saying this as somebody who would never go out in a replica shirt unless I was actually playing football as well. But just because that’s my preference I couldn’t give a shiny sh!t what some other random bloke from Leicester wears.
  10. Sorry to be a pain but I’ve only recently started lurking on FT after a long lay off for few years. I do remember this thread but not well and I can’t seem to find it - any chance someone could link it so I can relive a golden age?
  11. ……..😶 Fair point 😂
  12. Some of our nicest recent away/third shirts were red as well
  13. I still don’t like the teabagged badge but I do think that the home shirt looks decent now I’ve seen it played in. I did think that the home badge should be sacred and not tampered with, but then I contradict myself because I really like the current England woman's home kit with its shiny badge.
  14. I think he means make a modern away kit in green and gold…
  15. Christ that was a hard video to watch with those two shouting at each other with their fake, scripted enthusiasm. Other than that, some nice kits and he’s clearly skilled on photoshop - thought ours was pony though.
  16. Jesus that badge is awful, tbh, I can live with the rest
  17. I wonder at what point the King Power era of kits will be considered traditional, and gold will become the norm Particularly as the KP ownership cohabitates the same period of time as our biggest successes so far… and not coincidentally so either.
  18. Costock Fox - what’s the size of the maroon vardy one? And which sponsor is on the front? Thailand Smiles or King Power?
  19. I mean… the Women’s final was always going to be Wembley, as it should. Tickets for it flew out and it’s sold out. It’s not odd the the Community Shildnhas been moved, I just find it odd that it’s been moved to Leicester specifically, especially given the geography of the teams involved and the crappy transport links.
  20. Years ago I broke my own personal rule and answered a withheld number on my phone. Turned out it was Jim from LCFC and somehow I had entered a competition and somehow won a place to play on the pitch in a fans fixture. Thank god I answered that phone. the home team was Coached by Mauchlin and Walsh, the “away” was By Elliott and I think Ewan Roberts?? Memory has faded. either way it was 11 a side in the full pitch, we were given kits which we were supposed to return but funnily enough, I think most, if not all of them got… lost. We did the whole tunnel line up, walk out to Post Horn Gallop, handshakes etc, the teams were up on the scoreboard etc. we ended up playing 40min each way and in the second half it became 14 a side as the coaches came in along with each teams 12th man/sub. It was fantastic. If you get the opportunity to play, drop everything and take it. Especially if, like me, you’re crap at football so you’ll never play on a professional pitch through actual footballing merit.
  21. Isn’t this just…. Th FA? Shouldn’t they be reformed and better regulate the finance from the premier league down into the football league and beyond?
  22. And did this happen when they did used to play it?
  23. Why do you need the club to play this? If it genuinely is/was a club anthem then wouldn’t it manifest itself through the fans naturally? Or are you trying to manufacture an anthem that, if we’re honest, isn’t really there anyway? As a side note: I thought the Jeesey Budd version was pretty disliked for being too slow and dreary anyway? A sentiment I agree with. For me, some fella crooning along to some slow ballard is hardly atmosphere-generating material anyway.
  24. To be fair - I do also agree with you, having a Premier League standard facility, and having that space all to themselves must be fantastic - I’ve definitely heard the Ladies say how much they like Belvoir Drive and what a step up it has been for them. It’s just a shame that Seagrave can’t be big enough to have the enough space for the club to be fully integrated with perhaps even a small 2nd Stadium similar to Man City/Barcelona etc (we’re massive 😂)
