  1. Please could someone summarise me the current position on this? Is it closer? I don’t want to really read the propaganda machine that is Twitter, as it can’t be trusted as a credible source for the colour of ketchup these days. American politics comes across as barmy to me. Maybe it’s all the rallies with people with guns etc. Mass swings in voters due to religion? is that actually happening?
  2. I’m surprised some of these ratings are still as high. Im blaming Hermansen for that brain fart by Sideshow Faes, how is he so low. That game could easily have been 5-1 and Cooper is still over 40% in.
  3. I liked Enzo for 97.6% of his time here. I called for his head when it started to wobble at the end, as we clearly had one of the best squads the Championship has ever seen. Clearly I was wrong to do so and did out of frustration after losing games to relegation fodder. I’m 100% Cooper out and have been since pre season. What even was that 2nd half last night. Mav won’t defend like Fatawu. Krisitiansen is a better defensive fullback. He’s got to be the left back option based on what we’ve seen. It’s hard to say if the right back slot was Ricardo being rusty or clearly having lost his form and ability. Faes is shocking and looks so much worse without Vestergaard next to him. I’d rather see Okali / Vestergaard. Ndidi can’t play as an advanced midfielder when he’s pressed as much. He’s a great retriever of the ball. On it he doesn’t have the level of ability as other squad players. I’m still not sure why we signed Skipp, as unless we play a double pivot with him and Winks, what does he offer differently?
  4. They won’t do it, as much as it frustrates me, as we are still outside the relegation zone.
  5. We won the league in 15/16 as we ran through walls and tactically outsmarted people with better game plans and passages of play. We beat teams who technically had better XIs. You can have the best eleven players in the world, however try if they aren’t use to playing with each other, they’ll make different runs, press differently, lack communication etc. Technically that was our best XI on paper, however sometimes it doesn’t work like that. Ndidi can’t play as an 8 at this level. He’s simply not at that level. I don’t understand where Skipp fits in if I’m honest. Vardy needed support. The wingers were isolated. The defence was rinsed. We are playing like eleven people have been put on a pitch and asked to take on a well oiled machine.
  6. The challenge he has, is that collectively this squad looks like it doesn’t want to be playing, whatever tactics they’re meant to be playing. It’s a shambles in all honestly. No one is running to make space. The wide players need support and neither are beating two or three people at this level. They aren’t a Ronaldo, Hazard etc. Football is simple when it’s played correctly but people need to move. We aren’t even doing that. Where do we go from here, is anyone’s guess in all honesty. If they won’t move him on, we’ll just continue with this like some sort of purgatory type Groundhog Day.
  7. Tonight’s loss against Forest is on the players as much as Cooper. However they aren’t moving, running etc to generate space and chances. That’s on Cooper to sort and if (we know he’s not) up to it, then he needs replacing by someone that can. The managers that have kept less teams in this league, have got players to run through walls for them. Cooper isn’t that manager.
  8. This has been a performance to forget in all honesty. We are too rigid when we have the ball. Players aren’t moving, they look angry with each other. They aren’t playing for each other in this game, never mind the manager.
  9. Alright Mrs Cooper, calm down.
  10. Woah …… you left before full time?!? That’ll upset Foxestalk more than calling for Coopers head.
  11. I can point to at least three Luke Thomas performances that have been worse. + Soyuncu against Bournemouth. + several attempts at goalkeeping by Danny Ward.
  12. Soulmate went past some people at pace
  13. I mean, whatever the question is, Soumare is never the answer:
  14. I’m with you. I don’t want Cooper here in the slightest, however some of the players have been awful in this 2nd half.
  15. He’s a defender that looks better if you keep the ball. Something we don’t do.
  16. That one is purely on Faes.
  17. Faes is ultimately very, very shit there.
  18. Welcome to Steve Coopers Leicester. This is dreadful.
  19. That’ll do for a first half. Defensively we aren’t great but we have goals in us.
  20. Fatawu with the touch of a baby elephant then.
  21. Carragher is bigging it up, saying he’s loving it.
  22. Yes, they’re both direct and tricky.
  23. Would you bring on Thomas though?
  24. That reference will have gone over the heads of the younger generation.
