  1. I’m not convinced by Potter, however he’s leagues above Cooper.
  2. Just for info by the way, our expected expected points has us 19th. So the te is out performing at the moment; which sort of proves we might have some ability with tin this squad. https://understat.com/league/EPL
  3. It’s no different to having better players in the squad and not playing them. Better quality coaches are available. We are inflicting damage to ourselves with persisting with Cooper. I didn’t expect us to beat Tottenham, Villa or Arsenal. However it’s the horrendous tactics that are hurting us. Realistically we should have been heavily defeated by Arsenal. If you look at the xG across our games, it’s crazy. We haven’t won one of those and I know it’s only an indicator but long term we can’t expect the team to out perform it. The xG against Arsenal alone just proves that Hermansen kept that score down yesterday and left it looking semi respectable. Leicester xG Opponent xG Tottenham 1.03 1.41 Fulham 0.86 1.96 Villa 0.77 2.16 Palace 1.65 2.89 Everton 1.34 1.82 Arsenal 0.34 6.08 Total 5.99 16.32
  4. I’m not convinced Potter is the answer either by the way.
  5. Wasn’t this supposed to happen this season, then Barcelona kicked off as they needed to sell players, so it got delayed.
  6. How is the % stay so high?!
  7. I can’t believe the stay % is so high in the player ratings topic.
  8. It’s not about him being ex Forest. It’s not about how he looks. It’s not even about giving him more time. He’s just not setting us up correctly and his game management is terrible. Get him gone, like he should have been 8 weeks ago.
  9. No one can really argue that they don’t deserve it. They’ve battered us.
  10. Magically somehow still employed.

I still think they should get water cannoned if they block roads.

He turned up at mine twice. No idea why he felt the need to canvas my area twice.

In news more local to home, Andrew Bridgen (Former Conservative MP for North West Leicestershire) has not “questioned” if the vote was rigged against him. He’s gone all Trump here. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/leicester-news/former-mp-andrew-bridgen-questioned-9581348.amp

    It’s raining, heavily again.
  16. Covid doesn’t have the mortality rate of Ebola, Marburg, Rabies, HIV etc. However if the next virus that impacts humanity has the transmission rate of Covid and Death % of Marburg we’d wipe out half the worlds population. Was it not as simple as COVID 19, was so easily passed on, even with what seems a relatively low mortality rate at 1%, the overall death toll was significant. Hence the reason to stop the spread, lock everyone away from each other so the NHS isn’t totally overwhelmed. The virus in simple turns burned itself out by not being able to get passed on. That logic always made sense to me, albeit we were learning on the job. Some countries did better than others. It could have been worse, it could have been better. The human race need to build a natural resistance, or receive a vaccine to reduce the impact. I think it is as simple that recording a death as “Covid” was maybe the straw that broke the camels back. When you hear how out of control intensive care units were at their peak, in reality, they were in survival mode and just simply trying to cope. Logging cause of death maybe wasn’t the top priority. How many people are ultimately killed by pneumonia, rather than the other symptoms they have? If the body has a weakened immune system immune system, it will always be the final blow that is deemed to have killed you, not the 40 cuts before. The overall death toll is still tragic, thankfully a vaccine was engineered quickly to counter the devastating impact it was having. Without that, the world would still largely be upside down.

Teaching is a low paid job, where you have to look after children. It’s a nightmare I’d imagine. Then you throw the handling of the parents into the mix. It’s a cauldron for disaster.
  18. Ward did what was asked of him, then dived the same way for every penalty to get us through. He was MotM by miles though, as no one on here could argue that Walsall didn’t deserve to go through in 90 minutes. Walsall played well. Some of our players and our coach need to have a word this morning and decide what on earth that was though.
  19. BDCR has done absolutely nothing tonight, yet he still has a higher rating than Thomas against Blackburn and then Forest in the 22/23 season.
  20. It’ll likely be 3-1 to Arsenal
  21. People still think I’m crazy, when I was laughed at in pre season that we should have got rid. He’s clearly not cut out for this.
  22. Danny Ward MOTM
  23. He’s well up for it and he choose the takers.
  24. Danny Ward is a penalty shootout hero!
