  1. Agree, he’s definitely in the top 10 of both Heavyweight and Cruiserweight rankings. Cruiserweight he’s easily in connection for best ever against Jones and Holyfield.
  2. It’s difficult to judge era on era. The size of Heavyweights in Marcianos days were so much smaller. You would think someone like Fury in that era would have just dominated due to his size and ring skill. Even when you look at boxing matches from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s etc, we’re all just suggesting our opinions on something that is ambiguous. Uysk will go down in history as an all time great. However, he could get knocked out by someone like Kabayel in his next fight and opinions change. One punch makes such a huge difference. Joshua pre Ruiz was unstoppable in many peoples eyes. He changed after that fight.
  3. I still think he gets beaten by prime Lewis, Ali, Tyson, Holyfield and to a degree both Klitchkos. He comes across as a great person, great heart but question marks remain on his body. Uysk / Dubois could have gone a different way. Fury / Nganou could have gone a different way. Also, with Parker beating Wilder, question marks hang over how good Wilder is, thus querying Fury. I wouldn’t mind seeing a fit Ruiz vs Uysk, as that‘s an intriguing matchup. Then again, I’d still liked to have seen Bowe Vs Lewis, pre Holyfield defeat but that never happened. You could draw a line under this entire era but I think it will be looked back on with more fondness once all the big names retire. On any given day, due to the size of everyone, one punch makes a massive difference as we saw with Ruiz / Joshua.
  4. For those that didn’t see it ….
  5. As in ….. if he hadn’t fallen into them, he was hitting the deck! TIMMMMMMMMMMBER!
  6. Missed that one.
  7. Uysk true champion. He couldn’t call it when it went to the judges, as they sometimes see it differently, however Uysk deserved it and is the greatest champion of this generation. Not just great boxing, however he’s a true hero for Ukrainians.
  8. The ropes saved him. The question is, is Fury the type of person that can get himself in better condition than he has tonight to try and win. Will he trigger that clause. Also, who else does Uysk now fight? Parker, AJ (again), Wilder ….. he beats them all.
  9. Klitschko has nailed this interview. He’s spot on.
  10. Terrific fight that.
  11. Yep - Fury’s just wished everyone a happy new year!
  12. She’s not wrong! As bad as AJ dumping the belts from the ring after his lost to Uysk.
  13. “His country at war, so people will side with him” ”I believe I won the fight” Was he thinking about a different fight
  14. Fury believes he won it
  15. BLOODY WELL DONE UYSK!
  16. Rightful decision ….. but how on earth is anyone giving Fury a win
  17. Normal Fury comes across as respectful and a nice bloke. Weird Fury is as bad as John and just straight up strange. The Saudis love him as he’s straight out of WWE territory.
  18. That rocked Uysk …..
  19. If you’re Fury and you lose this, would you want it? He’s in the best shape he’s been for years and fought someone who has as good, if not better movement than you.
  20. Close again. Fury needs a knockout for me.
  21. Massive two rounds coming up.
  22. Fury needs to ride this out.
  23. Wow ….
