A Quick Look on Twitter has confirmed he’s some fella called J.I.D

FFS! If I wanted to watch some bloke perform in a box, I’d have applied to be in the audience of the cube. Get on with it …..
-
I really, really hope Uysk wears him into the ground then knocks him out. Just to put a stop to the hype train (and bury John Fury).
-
Imagine this in the MGM in Vegas! Why on earth are we getting all this thank you to his excellency stuff and listening to the Saudi National anthem.
-
This is going to be a draw isn’t it?
-
Basically what AJ should have done!
-
What are the changes of that cut reopening on Fury?
-
I think it’s better for boxing if Uysk wins, as Fury will just be an exhibition and most likely will end up getting stripped of the titles. I don’t think he’ll ever fight AJ.
-
Those days were special.
-
I think it’s better than the previous ones. It’s still flat though. Uysk weighed in at 233lbs, Fury 262lbs. So over 2 stone between them. I’m surprised Uysk is that heavy.
-
I’ll need to overhaul my entire squad if that’s the rule!!
-
First fight walk ins going. Some bloke has turned up as Optimus Prime.
-
Yes, fair comments. I think Robertson gets the left back slot in an XI. McGinn is an interesting one, as he’s definitely in the mix.
-
24 man squad: GKs - Pope, Pickford, Ramsdale DFs - Walker, Stones, Colwill, Shaw, Braithwaite, Robertson, Alexander-Arnold, James MFs - Bellingham, Rice, Palmer, Saka, Foden, Grealish, Maddison, McTominay, Grealish FWs - Kane, Watkins, Ferguson, Rashford Might not be everyone’s, however it won’t be far off!
-
Have they?
-
Didn’t we beat Swindon twice, then lost to them in the Playoff final?

West Ham United in transfer tussle to sign Ibrahim Maza West Ham United will reportedly compete with several Premier League and Bundesliga clubs for 17-year-old Hertha BSC sensation Ibrahim Maza. According to a report by Bild, as relayed by Sport Witness, Ibrahim Maza is the subject of interest from West Ham United. Several other Premier League clubs, including Brighton & Hove Albion, Brentford and Leicester City, are also keen on signing the 17-year-old attacking sensation. In addition, the Hertha BSC wonderkid is a target for VfL Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen. Ibrahim Maza is one of the brightest young prospects in his homeland. A native of Berlin, he began his youth career at Reinickendorfer Füchse before joining Hertha BSC in 2016. The German whizkid made his first-team debut for Hertha BSC in April 2023 and has come leaps and bounds since then. The 18-year-old has grown in stature at Hertha BSC this season, turning out 13 times while chipping in with one goal and two assists in the second division. Meanwhile, Maza’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs across Europe. Bundesliga outfits like VfL Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen are keen on signing the teenage prospect in the summer transfer window. In addition, the Hertha BSC wonderkid is a target for Premier League clubs like Brighton & Hove Albion, Brentford, Leicester City, and West Ham United. West Ham United’s interest in Ibrahim Maza might be surprising at first glance. However, with Julen Lopetegui likely to arrive at the London Stadium as the long-term replacement for David Moyes, some policies might change. With Lucas Paqueta ready to embark on a new adventure in the summer transfer window, West Ham can do with a versatile attacker. So, several attackers, including Steven Bergwijn, have emerged on West Ham United’s radar. However, Maza is also a viable target for the East London club. However, as iterated earlier, the Hammers face stiff competition for the 18-year-old German attacking sensation. Meanwhile, Hertha BSC might be resigned to losing the teenage prospect in the summer transfer window. And it will be interesting to see if West Ham can beat the competition to Ibrahim Maza’s signature.

Iversen is an interesting one. As a traditional goalkeeper, he’s actually really good. Stolarkzyk could fetch big money to the right buyer, as he potentially has a big, big future. They’re academy products so they’re both profit on the bottom line. £15m in for them if someone like Chelsea wants a British registered goalkeeper. Then we spread the cost of £12m for the incoming player over 4 years, so £4m per season and we aid the PSR / finance challenge. It all depends on what we can get for the academy products.

Unless we are thinking of selling Stolarkzyk and Iversen to comply with FFP regulations! Seems heavy though!

https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/leicester-to-battle-man-city-for-seria-a-goalkeeper-signing/ Leicester City in transfer chase with Man City for 22-year-old Published 16 minutes ago The Foxes are preparing for a return to the Premier League Following their relegation from the Premier League at the end of last season, this campaign has been a much more successful one for Leicester. The Foxes have won an immediate promotion back to the top-flight of English football this season, doing so as title winners. As a result, they are now preparing for a return to the Premier League, and with strengthening the squad set to be a part of that, a new transfer target now looks to have been identified. Leicester City keen on Christos Mandas As per this latest update, Leicester are showing an interest in Mandas following their promotion this season. It is claimed that Foxes manager Enzo Maresca is keen to add the former Greek youth international to his side for the coming campaign. However, reigning Premier League champions Manchester City are also thought to havemonitored the goalkeeper. Mandas only joined Lazio last summer, signing from OFI Crete in his native Greece for a reported €900,000. He has since gone on to make 12 appearances in all competitions for his current club. Lazio are seventh in Serie A as things stand, four points adrift of a Champions League place as things stand. It is suggested that it would cost around €15million (£12.9million) to secure the services of Mandas this summer. As things stand, there are just over four years remaining on the goalkeeper's contract with Lazio, securing his future with the club until the end of the 2027/28 season. That of course, ensures that the Serie A side are in a strong position to respond to any offers that come in for Mandas once the market has opened. Christos Mandas could be a decent signing It does look as though the Lazio goalkeeper could be a useful addition for Leicester if they were to get this deal done. Mandas was initially second-choice when he arrived in Italy, but stepped in recently following an injury to number one goalkeeper Ivan Provedel. The 22-year-old has seemingly done well in that time, having kept his place in the starting XI for the last two games despite Provedel returning to fitness with a place on the bench. That seems to indicate that Mandas is a solid top-flight goalkeeper, who could do a job for Leicester in the Premier League if they were to bring him to The King Power Stadium. However, it is worth noting that Mads Hermansen, Danny Ward, and Jakub Stolarczyk are all currently in Maresca's squad, while Daniel Iversen set to return from a loan spell at Stoke as well. Signing Mandas would surely make exits in that position even more likely this summer, since they are surely not going to need so many senior goalkeeping options for next season. It may also be intriguing to see if this is a deal can afford and are willing to pay for, considering the scrutiny they will be under after investigations into Foxes' spending for breaching Profit and Sustainability limits. With that in mind, this does feel like a link that is well worth keeping an eye on for Leicester, over the course of the next few weeks.

As an aside, historically Uysk is around the size of some of your classic Heavyweight names at 6’3”, 220lbs. It’s just that Fury is so big! Louis - 6’2”, 200lbs Foreman - 6’4”, 218lbs Frazier - 5’11”, 205lbs Tyson - 5’10”, 217lbs Liston - 6’0”, 218lbs Lewis - 6’5”, 240lbs Wilder - 6’7”, 231lbs W Klitchko - 6’7”, 243lbs V Klitchko - 6’7”, 248lbs Ali - 6’3”, 211lbs Bowe - 6’6”, 235lbs Holmes - 6’3”, 212lbs Holyfield - 6’2, 218lbs Marciano - 5’11”, 184lbs

Uysk will be in the 220lb range I think when they weigh in. Fury could be as low as 255lbs. That’s still a 2.5 stone difference. Both move well and are good technical boxers. Fury has the reach and height advantage and can still utilise that leaning tactic by putting the weight onto the smaller man; then fighting on the inside if he has to. I’m an Uysk fan, I really like him and he’s a great role model. I really dislike Fury. However Fury has clearly dropped the weight for this fight, as he doesn’t need that bulk to absorb the punches, traditionally thrown by “big” heavyweights. I think he’ll keep it at a distance fairly early and just out point him. He’s taken this seriously and hasn’t underestimated Uysk. Fury win by points for me.

I see Vistry have announced £800m profit, after forcing 10% reductions on their suppliers. This was after they’d announced they’d announced the CEO was getting on on target increase from £2.6m to £5.2m a few months ago. This will upset many within the construction world no doubt! The people over on LinkedIn aren’t happy

“It is good to be back to the Premier League after being relegated and struggling back to EPL is actually something we don’t want to go back to again. I think morale is high, expectation is high, we have to ensure we do not return to the Championship. It’s a tough place to play,” Ndidi remarked. He however is not desperate about moving to a new club since Leicester City still want him to stay which is important for him. “If a good chance comes, I won’t mind trying my luck elsewhere but for now I remain a Leicester City player,” Ndidi concluded.
