They’re normally pretty decent at scoring goal at home - but bloody hell they’ve started terribly
-
That’s horrendous defending from Plymouth
-
I fancy Plymouth to nick a point today - I’m going 3-3
-
For anyone not going today, the game is live on BeinSports here, so there should be streams available.

Updated maximum possible points table with most teams having just 42 points to play for: Leicester City 120 Southampton 109 Leeds United 108 Ipswich Town 108 West Bromwich Albion 94 Hull City 93 Cov Scum 90 Norwich City 90 Preston North End 90 Sunderland 89 Bristol City 86 Middlesbrough 86 Cardiff City 85 Watford 83 Plymouth Argyle 82 Blackburn Rovers 81 Birmingham City 80 Swansea City 78 All teams below can no longer reach our current total of 78 points.

What’s your thoughts on Doc Martin?
-
To be honest, at this stage I don’t see either as dangerous to us, at this stage. It feels like watching a cricket game - you’re chasing 108 for the win and you’ve got to 78/4 still with 14 overs to go. You know from here you should win, you’re relaxed and watching on with a nice cold beer in your hands. But it’s also in the back of your mind a couple of quick wickets (defeats) and it it could be game on again. I won’t be fully celebrating until Vardy launches Russell Martin over the boundary for a final 6

So 30 points, as it stands from our last 14 games makes certain of autos! 31 for the league title - all of that if the other 3 chasing don’t drop any points. 30 more points - 10 wins for the record too!
-
There’s also 15 points between us and Ipswich in 4th.
-
Southampton still have to play 6 of the top 10, including all 3 of the big 4 this season, which will make it very difficult for them to secure 12 more points than us over 14 games. Not impossible, but I don’t think they’ve been great in their last 3 including tonight. The penalty gets given on half time and I think we have a different game on our hands. I’m not too worried about them at this stage.

That’s why the coaches shouldn’t be out of the technical area. If he’s in the area and stays close to the bench this doesn’t happen. It’s really silly, but the only decision there is a red card.
-
Like good players, good refs can have bad games too. Overall from the games I’ve seen Allison this season, he’s been about the best the Championship can offer, he’s got a few things wrong tonight though, including that penalty decision at the end there.
-
that’s a penalty all day long for me, Southampton very, very lucky here!
-
What on earth happened there for the red card to come out? Just watched the replay he played the ball whilst it was in play - what was he thinking.

Formerly known as BT Sport, TNT Sports will share the rights with a free-to-air broadcaster. Its the second sentence of the article!

Replace Coventry with Sunderland and you’ll see some cracking football, big crowds and some great atmospheres. What would be even better would be the reaction of Leeds fans when they lose the play off final to Sunderland who finish 25 points behind them and have been largely pretty average all season.

Meanwhile, I came in here to post about a weird experience I had today, and this partly explains why. I went into the shops on the way home from work, just grabbed the usual bread, milk some chocolate etc. 2 bags of shopping, the Mrs text asking for one more item, so I popped back in the store - must have been in there 5 minutes max and someone’s opened my boot and grabbed the shopping bags! For the record, I did not lock the car my fault! It was about $60 worth of groceries and nothing flash or anything. I’m not pissed off with the person at all really, the saw a chance and took it. For me $60 really isn’t worth getting upset about - and hopefully the person who’s grabbed it, has gone home and fed their kids and been able to give them a bit of chocolate, maybe a treat they haven’t had for a while. I am pissed off with the energy suppliers, the supermarkets, the other major retailers who are maximising profits and forcing people to grab what they can where they can. It’s getting beyond a joke some of the prices for absolute basics.

Theoretically, we could seal automatic promotion at home to Southampton in the middle of March - which is bloody insane that it’s even a possibility. It is however, highly unlikely. If we were to win our next 6, that would leave us on 96 points, if two of Ipswich, Southampton or Leeds were to lose 4 games (1 against us for Saints and Leeds) we are up! As I say highly unlikely, but we are really getting to the business end of the season now.

Official Teams who cannot Mathematically catch us thread

No one likes them, we don’t care they can’t catch us now! Welcome to the list: 1. Rotherham 2. Sheffield Wednesday 3. Queens Park Rangers 4. Huddersfield Town 5. Stoke City 6. Millwall -
From the reverser fixtures we took 0 points in the reverse fixture for the next two games. After that we took 33 from 36 in the remaining games - if we have similar results again 111 points and a new record

To be fair, there’s quite a few like this Swansea still have to play Stoke and Millwall same scenario applies, I think the actual list, taking into consideration fixture and teams losing there are probably 8 or so teams that can’t actually catch us, they’ll all be added to the list soon enough. Millwall could jump on tomorrow if they fail to beat Ipswich -

Big win, Southampton 3-0 down! 10 more wins and promotion is a mathematical certainty!
