Somethings that became very obvious in our game against Birmingham. Yes Ricardo can play as an 8, but in the inverted full back role he is crucial to everything we do and needs to stay on that role. Justin is a much better option than Doyle at left back. Nelson should probably be ahead of Coady in the CB pecking order behind Vesty and Faes - I actually think long term Nelson will make a better Premier League centre back than any of the other options. Choudhury is not good enough to play and maintain a high level - either that or his head was gone yesterday with everything happening. Albrighton still has a part to play this season, especially against the bottom half teams. Vardy still has a part to play, but in terms of overal impact is probably behind Cannon and Daka now. Yunus can play the 8 role very well, but without Ndidi or Casadei we do miss a bit of physicality. All this Klopp stuff is well over the top, not even in the top 5 managers of the Premier League era, not in the top 10 managers in English Football. He’s a top manager, no doubt and he’s done a great job at Liverpool getting them back in contention again, but the tributes coming in and the discussion about his greatness is way over the top. If he managed Chelsea, Man Utd or Arsenal he would be seen as a decent manager in their history and they’d move on. It seems everything Liverpool has to be over the top and the greatest ever. At the end of the day, he won the same number of Premier League titles as Claudio Ranieri won with us. He has the same number of Champions League wins as Roberto Di Matteo, the same number of FA Cups that Brendan Rodgers has with us and less league cups than Martin O’Neil. It could be argued that with the squad he has built, he has failed to bring in more silverware to the club.

Stolarczyk man of the match 9 without him it’s game over before half time. Nelson, Albrighton and Vardy 8s - Nelson looks the real deal. Albrighton was the biggest problem for them and Vardy back to scoring could easily have had a couple if the Lino kept his flag down.

Looked very comfortable on the ball, wanted to make things happen and didn’t shy away. With our struggles in midfield, I’d definitely look to include him in the squad again.
