Yet another absolute clown of a referee at this level - it’s like he won a competition to be out there in the middle.

Are you not entertained! This is sublime football.
-
Should be down to 10 there, it’s a clear second booking.
-
Mavididi and Fatawu look on it tonight, hopefully it translates to a goal or two

The only pairings in the league that runs it close are Coady and Nelson or Doyle and Soutttar.

That’s what the goat wanted you to think…

I think he was framed

Get in! Brilliant from Denis, then the dummy from Vards. Great start!

Fattttaaaawuuuuuu

I think he’s just 3rd choice striker, we only play with one and whilst Vardy and Daka are fit and scoring he’s going to have his chances limited. He’s one for the future, next season he could be the main man.

Ric Flair Live & Direct on BSLB Podcast

It was funny listening to this and then the club having Tony Cottee on Foxes Player commentary for the Watford game. Cottee, great player one of my favourites but awful comments in terms of we need to lump it up to the big man and praising Watford for sending the CB forwards late on and calling it proper football. If the club want us all to get behind Enzo, they need to make sure the comments coming through to fans help them understand what is happening in the game and why. -
With the midweek games, I think we’ll have to see a small amount of rotation, just to keep the squad fresh as we move into the final third of the season. For me I’d bring in Vardy, Yunus, Doyle and Mavididi, (potentially Vestergaard too if he’s fit, but not sure I’d risk him if he’s not 100%). Give Ricardo a rest, moving Justin to the right, McAteer, Praet and Daka all drop out. I haven’t watched much Wednesday this season, but I’d imagine they’d be backs to the wall and we’d need to try and break them down - Yunus, Mavididi and Fatawu should have enough to do that, Doyle’s passing should also help with that. Im going for a 2-0 win Vardy scoring both with one from the spot.

This is where XG for me loses all relevance, we had two or three players we knew under Rodgers were capable of scoring screamers from the edge of the box. We often worked the ball into the positions for Maddison and Tielemans to get a shot off, now these are generally very low XG plays, but when you have the qualities of Tielemans and Maddison they’re a tactic, so of course we outperformed our XG. XG doesn’t take into consideration who the player is so Maddison 25 yards out with time is a much better chance than Ndidi in the same position, XG cannot take this into consideration. Anyone who watched us under Puel and Rodgers would know they were massive difference in terms of attacking output in both teams - they were chalk and cheese. XG has become very popular stat used, but it’s an incredibly floored statistic and in my view I wouldn’t use it to prove anything.

How dare you forget Musa!!

This is unbelievable, in a great season with many great performances, for me, he is player of the season by a long way.

2/3rds of the season now played, worth checking in on those preseason predictions, how are they looking? Looking through I think @Wymseyhas just about the best predictions based on what’s happening so far.

Still hasn’t had his Scotland call up though has he…

The maths is quite complicated, because teams play each other, so whilst 21 teams can all mathematically catch us, mathematically all 21 teams cannot catch us. Huddersfield and Stoke for example, can both mathematically catch us, if by a turn of fortune they won every game between now and the end of the season, and we lost every game, however, they both have to play each other - therefore they cannot both catch us. Hull in 7th can get a maximum of 93 points from their remaining games, but they still have to play all of the teams above them, so if they can win every game it means we take 3 points from Southampton, Ipswich, WBA and Leeds. I think now we can put it as mathematically improbable that we don’t finish in the top 6.

Can you unpack this post for me please, I’m really not sure what any of it means? -
If all of our games have the same result has the reverse fixture we finish on 109 points,

Official Teams who cannot Mathematically catch us thread
Aus Fox replied to Aus Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
There’s a million threads on here with speculation and what if we drop points… This one is only for certainties! Even if you can get level on points with us and we have a 50 goal better GD, you don’t get in this thread. Mathematically certainty only. -
Happy ‘Let’s all Laugh at Derby Day’ where no matter how crap you think a premier league team is, we can all laugh as they surge past Derby’s points total with a huge chunk of the season to go 😂
-
If we can go up there and win that’s us 15 points clear of them with 12 to play (assuming we both win the 2 games we have before that game). I really think win our next 3 and we’re up!
-
I’m going to call it now, if we win our next 3, we are champions.
