Keep hoping that patson is going to find form and kick on and earn his place in the starting eleven, unfortunately it ain’t happening so far this evening.

For most of the game Millwall were well organised and kept their shape well . They looked dangerous with set pieces and their first goal was a sweet cross and banging header. Abdul had the beating of his marker every time but a lot of our play went wide to Stephy and unfortunately he wasn’t having the same success ,actually the kid marking him looked a tidy player. Great result despite the lack of concentration in added on time.

Have you seen how short he is. Most of those challenges went straight over his head .

Very sad news about Terry Venables a decent England Manager with a personality.

I went to the match yesterday and nearly fell asleep in the first half. The second half started pretty much the same as the first. I’ve been super impressed with HW, he’s busy, reads the game exceptionally well, has bucketfuls of energy and can pick out a pass. not surprised about the amount of shots, does that include shots where the ball nearly cleared the stands and the ones that barely reached the keeper. Seriously, we only started to show any endeavour in the last 15-20 mins shots 23 on target 8 and half of them we were lucky to have them counted as shots. Abdul coming on made a big difference to the game.

Agree with most of your synopsis apart from we didn’t miss him today. He is such an industrious player, gets things moving going forward. We were awful in the first half, keeping possession is obviously Enzo’s style of play but the amount of times our press fizzled out to sideways and back passing was woeful. Winks can pick out a pass, his energy and skill on the ball was so obviously missing today particularly in the first half.

Clearly missed the creativity Winks brings to the team today.

After being a huge critic, Jannik is beginning to win me over.

When we do move forward, direct and with a purpose we look good, the problem is we just don’t do it very often.

Oh dear 2-0 up when I last looked, looks like we’ve imploded.

What a terrific match, it had everything, Cole Palmer as cool as with his penalty.

Just too many players having an off day against an uninspiring but tenacious opposition.
