And the Germans don't even make the final. Good grief.
-
The Germans marking themselves as the chief rivals in the women's team sprint, then.

Good question, everyone will have a different answer. But for me the moral question is rather secondary to the fact that humans do practically always deliver consequences - positive and negative - in response to freedoms of expression - positive and negative - as a matter of course anyway.
-
I think I understand you here, but can you give me an example to be certain before I answer?
-
Thank you very much, but I will also credit the late, great Terry Pratchett for giving that one to me in one of his amazing books.
-
Free speech, like any other freedom, comes hand in hand with the most fundamental freedom of all - the freedom to take the consequences. That's the freedom upon which all others are based.

Any of the Fast and the Furious, Harry Potter or Transformers franchise. And The Sound of Music. How about highly rated as opposed to high-grossing/popular? For me Forrest Gump should be nowhere near the IMDB top 250, let alone 11th.

That's entirely possible, I'd have to do some number crunching to be sure but the raw data is impressive to me And As long as what needs to get done gets done the motivation is rather secondary to me because the consequences of not doing it are far worse than even the most nefarious excesses of the worst dictatorships at the present time. In that order. Again, possible, but on this particular matter the intentions of Joe Misinformation stateside and his effect on things in November is much more damaging than anything the Chinese are up to.

The velodrome is Team GBs house. If they want to finish 3rd in the medal table, that's where it will be won.
-
And yet, the consensus among Chinese people and government is that the issue is a real problem (a perhaps surprisingfind from my thesis), and they are putting in more renewable energy infrastructure at the present time than the rest of the world put together. The Indians and the Russians, however...

Another silver that could perhaps have been one better.
-
Very disappointing track night for GB so far.
-
Harsh lesson for Hinchcliffe there. 9.95ish will get you into semifinals, but finals need sub-9.9 and medals need around 9.8 slowest.
-
I think it is best ever total so far, but less golds, which tallies. Some missed opportunities (and one refereeing step l screw up).
-
Poor bugger. Hopefully for his finish he'll still get some dispensation to do something a little different in the course of his two year service in the same way that other famous faces have done.
-
Just another generic American. Yeah.
-
Can't help but feel GB have left somewhere between three and five golds out on the field of play so far this Olympics, quite a few opportunities slipped by and had to settle for silver or bronze instead.
-
It was. She's been screwed by the refs there.
-
Mourinho masterclass - went a man down, parked the bus and played for penalties. Fair enough.
-
Only got themselves to blame here, same as if a team plays most of a football match against 10 men and then loses to a better keeper in a shoot-out.
-
Yeah, fair to say. The pundits (at least the expert one) should have spotted that technical deficiency when it happened.
-
Fair to say, but then I'm not all that bothered about the Beeb bigging up GB competitors. Don't think their stance on impartiality has to extend to sport.
