Yeah, the above is about it really. The only thing I'll add is that the responses do have to be tailored to the issue and local solutions are often better, but if we really want to preserve the current quality of life as it is (in terms of actually not dying of easily curable infections, temperature regulated living and working spaces, internet porn and all that) and bring that quality to more parts of the world, then it will be one world or no world.
