It looks to be that way. Now let's see if Kegbreath and/or other leading figures have the stones to actually admit that they're on the hook for their part in this dreadful event.
-
Given the accuracy of the intel used so far and the amount of specifically targeted attacks going on as a result, the idea that the US and Israel didn't know that the place was full of schoolchildren at the time of the attack is highly implausible. Edit: but then, apparently one of the rules of war is that winners don't commit war crimes.

Think he's on very thin ice at the least.

If England do lose this then they'll have only themselves to blame.

Good to see Lewis Moody enjoying himself. One day we might make some progress at stopping, rather than slowing the dreadful thing that is motor neurone disease.

Could also be near another area of high thermal radiation too.

That very very much depends on where you are.

Thoroughly entertaining match.

Not a problem, I think a lot of us have been there and given kick off is in about 40 minutes I wouldn't blame people for being annoyed for whatever reason.

Not at all, but unfortunately the Internet outside of FT is rather less discerning and a lot of them have voices and votes, apparently. Pardon for not making that clear in the OP. Just to clarify, what I meant was that this military action, and the whole sabre rattling regarding Greenland before it, were obvious distractions from the Epstein discoveries and anyone buying into either at any level now is either ridiculously naive or apparently fine with the current US administration covering up some truly hideous acts, some involving themselves all the way up to the man at the top.
-
... it's almost as if they're lying sociopaths covering up the evidence of some truly horrible things and if anyone else buys into the current action in Iran covering for it then they're little better, isn't it?
-
I believe that is called "manufacturing consent", and sadly it is something those kill-happy sociopaths are rather good at.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4g0dzg6e4mo FBI documents summarising interviews with a woman who made unsubstantiated claims of sexual assault against Donald Trump have been released as part of the US Department of Justice's (DOJ) trove of Epstein files. The release follows reports that the documents were missing from the DOJ's database, prompting Democrats to accuse officials of a cover-up. The DOJ said it mistakenly withheld the files during its review process because they had been "incorrectly coded as duplicative". The memos describe a series of interviews in 2019 with the woman, who makes uncorroborated claims against Trump and Jeffrey Epstein. The president has consistently denied wrongdoing in relation to the late sex offender. Good time to bury an attempted whitewash, apparently.

Which, if true, still remains a choice to them (if a bad one) and therefore something where they bear at least some responsibility for the consequences of that choice. There's a reason the laws and customs of war make it forbidden to destroy a "military" structure that holds civilians except in the absence of all (key word there) other options. There's no argument for causing civilian death other than the above, and even that really needs to be examined closely in every circumstance.

Let us hope not.

And, of course, in the interest of staying relevant Farage is currently at Mar A Lago to kiss Felon#47's ring.

Fair enough. Perhaps language is an issue there, though that doesn't stop negative opinion of both Russia and China. I do think that, among the bigger global players, folks do underestimate the amount of clout India have and how big a bastard Modi is.
-
Well, looking at it from purely a UK perspective, polled views of China are a fair bit more negative than they're positive, and open a lot of the major papers and a lot of what they print about China is similarly negative, so yeah, I'd say he comes in for a fair bit of criticism. Still thinking India tends to cross such opinion less, even when they're buying oil by the tankerload from sanctioned nations, as they are now. If there is a point being made here, feel free to make it.
-
Well, actually Xi is the only other one of comparable power. Not sure what the point being driven at is here though when the OP rather clearly made the point that Modi appears to draw less ire, perhaps undeservedly, than any of those three.
-
Agreed, but the way I see it, no one has to pull the trigger in that case. Or, as you say, take shared responsibility when you do. That second paragraph sounds wildly tinfoil hat tbh, but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised about a lot or all of it being true.
-
No, my point is that Putin, Trump etc get well deserved pelters, but Modi seems to fly under the radar a bit more, despite having similar mentality and (like in this case) doing deals with the Russians.
-
I've said it before, but I honestly don't know why Modi gets such a free ride among world leaders in terms of opinion, considering he's a nationalist shiteheel causing as many problems as quite a few of the others.

Ah, yes, the man shown looking like a rabbit in the headlights in the Capitol on January 6th 2021, scared of a coup attempt he freely encouraged:
-
You'd think that point would be obvious to everyone tbh. Unless it is obvious to everyone and the reason for all of these "interventions" isn't about "spreading democracy" at all - rather exercising power in the name of maintaining that same power for oneself.
-
It's absurd to me how people might make much of a moral distinction between such parties tbh.
