The 1st of the Joona Linna series, and so far it's been a decent page-turner.

Got the pilot of Powers to watch. It doesn't look too bad from the trailer. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1851040/ Set in a world where humans and super heroes co-exist, a homicide detective, who had his own powers taken from him, investigates crimes involving superhumans along with his partner.

Surprisingly, I thoroughly enjoyed this. I did watch it at 3-30am this morning though due to not being able to sleep.

My daughter was undecided last night whether to go see Chappie or Focus see opted for Chappie and wished she'd not bothered, she said basically it's one massive advert for Die Antwoord.

Action galore I really enjoyed it.

Watched TMNT and The Hunger Games:Mockingjay part 1 - Both Shite.

Just sat on watch the 1st episode of Southland and it was excellent. I hope the rest are equally as good or better, anyone seen it?

Nearly finished reading this fast paced thriller, and it's been a great read so far. I'm hoping the ending is just as good.

The Imitation Game The film is riveting and kept my attention throughout although mainly because Cumberbatch is excellent as Turing. 8.5/10

Searching For Sugar Man - I went into this blind not knowing a thing about him and I'm glad I did, It was great to see his life unfold not knowing if he were dead or alive. 8/10

I was expecting a really good film after viewing the trailer but apart from the ending I was left overall very disappointed.

Getting the Z3 Compact next week.

Queen with Adam Lambert in Jan @ Manchester is already booked so I'm looking forward to that. I'd also like to go see Paolo Nutini and Brian Adams but as of yet can't justify spending so much money a few weeks before Xmas.

I'm currently onto the 2nd book in the Glasgow trilogy by malcolm mackay after finding the 1st a great read.

Hannibal would fill more than a gap, it's excellent.

Looking forward to seeing this, and happy to hear it stays close to the plot of the book as I enjoyed reading it

I'm taking Blackpool to beat Forest @10/1. It's well worth £5 even though Blackpool have a team that's literally just been thrown together.
