This is the 4th time this month that I've had no water due to the Muppets fixing the road who obviously just dig down forgetting there might be big **** off pipes in the ground. Anyway off out to see the old queen as I'm dying for a brew, although I bet it's shite coffee and uht milk. It's better than dying of thirst though. Fingers crossed its fixed when I return.

  19. Shocking how quick councils are summoning people, although I suppose it's what the Tories wanted. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/council-tax-huge-queues-outside-2033516
  20. I'm not the best picture taker but managed to snap these this morning at my local park while having a stroll.
  21. Tonsils. I've never had a problem with them before but last Friday after a week of thinking I had ear ache I was hospitalised in Blackpool Vic overnight with a Quinsy (abscess on the tonsil). A night and day on the IV Antibiotics and I felt much better so they released me on Saturday afternoon but come Sunday night it had come back and by Monday morning I was back in hospital. I was discharged again yesterday afternoon after a further 48hrs of IV Antibiotics, needle aspirations, incisions and drainages and this time feel so much better, although my arms and hands are black and blue as for some strange reason hospital staff struggle to put cannula's in at the 1st attempt. Anyway fingers crossed it stays away this time without the need for a tonsillectomy.
  22. It's Ok, although nothing special. I was expecting a lot more given the near 200 million dollar budget.
  23. MIXED AGE GROUP FOOTBALL PERMITTED TO U15 A change to the age limit at which boys and girls can play football in the same teams has been unanimously voted in by The Football Association The resolution to increase the mixed football age limit from U14s to U15s was approved on Thursday 16th 2013 by The FA shareholders at their AGM after The FA Board, FA Executive and FA Council agreed the proposal. The change will come into effect for the forthcoming 2013-14 season and will enable The FA to conduct further research into mixed football at this older age group. Kelly Simmons, Director of the National Game and Women’s Football at The FA, said: “This is really great news and we are delighted that The FA Shareholders fully supported the rule change to enable boys and girls to play in the same teams if they wish to do so up to the U15 age limit. “The most important thing is to give girls who want to play football the choice.†Is this a serious accident waiting to happen?
  24. Got this to read although I'm yet to start it.
  25. This documentary by Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky details the murder trial of Delbert Ward. Delbert was a member of a family of four elderly brothers, working as semi-literate farmers and living together in isolation from the rest of society until William's death. Watched this last night... It's an earlier documentary from the directors that brought us the Paradise Lost Trilogy which I've got to say was excellent, this however isn't up to the same standard. It is however still a decent watch and does tell a strong story of how a town can pull together to help a simple man from being railroaded by ambitious prosecutors.
