The report says Hellas Verona can sign him on a loan deal with a €5m purchase clause. Galatasaray want that clause to be mandatory.

I thought loans counted as squad players, regardless of age?

I'm just looking at this deal as a squad place swap with Souttar. A midfield who can chip in with goals and rotate is better than having a 5th or 6th choice centre back.
