  1. “…or along those lines”. I understand your point and I’m astutely aware of the sensitivity of the club’s history. However, the intention behind the message was not to disrespect anyone or reference past tragedies—it was simply a metaphor to highlight the current state of the club. If we start dissecting every idea for potential offense, we’ll struggle to take any meaningful action. That said, whilst I don’t appreciate being coined stupid, I appreciate feedback and am happy to consider alternative suggestions that help convey the frustration of the fans effectively without causing unnecessary upset. Feel free to contribute positively with your messaging suggestions too. Cheers.
  2. That’s the plan, funding dependent.
  3. One of my ideas is to just get the van going round and round that mini roundabout with the message “LCFC are circling out of control” - or something along those lines. (Unless that is offensive to those more prone to a spell of dizziness and lightheadedness, of course).
  4. If this isn’t a reason to donate and share a message directed towards the off-field senior management team, I really don’t know what is… A reminder of the link: https://gofund.me/d71e910e PS for those more easily offended, fear not, no actual messages to go on the van have been signed off. The ones on the funding page are there to help generate ideas. Completely appreciate the soft society we live in and agree this is more about directing messages towards the so-called ‘board’. All approved messages will go through the filter. (However, Bobby DCR should not have been given a 3 year deal AND a pay rise). If someone wants to create a message that alludes to that without calling the player out, get involved! We’re at £285/£500 👏 Foxes, even the softer ones, Don’t Quit.
  5. Hi mate, You can either send them to me on a private message on here or via twitter making sure you use the hashtag #LCFCbillboard. cheers.
  6. I have indeed. I’ve spoken to several potential digital van companies all who have assured me how they operate in and around stadiums. Can’t say loads on here because apparently the club are watching us. But it’s all been briefed in and discussed carefully.
  7. Hi all, Thanks to everyone who has donated. We’re on £230 which is great. Our target is £500 to hire the van for the day (target date = Sat 15th Feb for the Arsenal game). We need to give the van company a few days to get everything set up and we need to pay upfront for it. So, ideally we could do with raising the full funds by the week before the 15th. If you know anyone who’d be willing to sling in a few quid, please share the link! Of course if we don’t make the funds in time, we can either delay and hope we raise enough for the following home game or we can start issuing refunds. We’ll cross that bridge in a few weeks. A reminder of the link: https://gofund.me/391bad4a cheers!
  8. Ideally yes. It just depends on when we can hit the target. I've reached out to 5 companies to give ourselves the best chance of having a van available for the Arsenal game.
  9. Hi mate The companies I’ve spoken to who will provide and drive the van will get in early to scope out the best spots. These companies specialise in this sort of activity and I’ve explained that certain roads close pre-match (Raw Dykes). They can circulate around roads close to the stadium as well as move to legal loading bays and parking spots to attract fans walking towards the stadium from different locations.
  10. Nearly hit the halfway mark on the lower goal of £500… Please keep sharing with friends and family! Here is the link again: https://gofund.me/391bad4a
  11. I’ve spoken to 5 companies who specialise in this type of activity around football stadiums. And policing has been on the agenda. All 5 have told me they know how to get around any confrontation. They tend to get there early, scope out legal loading bays and open roads to ensure they don’t get stuck in tight spots. The companies I’ve spoken to have worked on similar campaigns with the likes of Sheff Wed and Reading recently.
  12. I was thinking if we can raise the funds in time in order to get it in and around the stadium for the next home game, it will give us a decent shot of picking up more press coverage as well as fans sharing on their socials too.
  13. Hi all, I've started another thread that could nicely coincide with this initiative. I'm trying to raise donations to have a mobile digital billboard drive up and down around the ground before the next home game. The billboard will share a range of appropriate but hard-hitting messages towards the board. If people would like to donate, the link is here: https://gofund.me/f8001aad If you'd like to submit a message to feature on the van, please share one on Twitter making sure you use the hashtag: #LCFCbillboard and we'll collate them from there. Please share with other city fans. Cheers.
  14. Also, if people want to submit a message to feature on the van, please either share it on here or if using Twitter please use the hashtag: #LCFCbillboard and we’ll collate them all.
  15. We’re moving in the right direction… £135 raised so far. Please keep sharing the links with other fans you know of: https://www.gofundme.com/f/lcfc-sack-the-board/cl/o?lang=en_US&utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_link&attribution_id=sl%3A4a4ba9f8-245d-446b-a944-4469e98f26df
  16. Ideally for the next home game yeah. We’re up to about £135 now. So we’re making decent progress.
  17. I wish! Costs about that to fill the car up.
  18. This is the company who will provide the van if we reach the target: https://www.mobiledigitaldisplays.co.uk I spoke to them last week and they’ve done one recently for Reading FC Supporter’s Group, ‘Sell Before We Dai’.
  19. For a fraction of the cost of a pint of Chang down the King Power, you can play your part in getting your voice heard. The chants don’t work. Fans are 99.9% unlikely to boycott games. The board don’t return any emails or correspondence. And they refuse to speak to local reporters. We need to do something bigger that will pick up Press and Social Media Coverage and pile the pressure on Top, Rudkin and Whelan. Feel free to donate and/or share the link below. Exact details can be firmed up when we get close to the donation target. The idea is to have a mobile digital billboard van at the Stadium and Seagrave on the same day with hard-hitting messages submitted by fans. If we’re going down, let’s at least go down fighting and doing our best to create change that our great club deserves. https://gofund.me/8a5217b5
  20. He’s not very good. Good Chammo player in the right system.
  21. Danny Ward’s last season.
  22. How did the ‘we want Rudkin out’ chant go? Still zero effect? Fans need to have the bollox to boycott games in order to make some slight ripple of change. This whole club is embarrassing.
  23. “YEaH buT hE’s giVEN uS mORe iDeNTiTY aND sHape thAn cO0PEr”.
  24. He is ****ing dreadful.
  25. I reckon I could nutmeg Skipp from about 58 yards away.
